If anything I'd suggest blackout shades added. Hallways are decorated with hints from the area and the location is on main street walking distance to small market restaurants a bowling alley across the street and some bars abd pubs a couple blocks away. A very safe area. The staff is amazing albeit could use some training to recognize intercontinental priority Rewards members. If there are rooms available go the extra mile and let the guest in. There is no hardline for 3pm check in. Note I was allowed in early but it took some guidance. In thr meantime I had an excellent time at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel Santo Filete. It opens for breakfast at 7am. There is a very complete pantry shop next to Lobby. I'll stay every chance I get.

We had a great stop over at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the bed was incredibly…read morecomfortable, unlike beds often found in Mexico lodgings. The staff was pleasant, security is on-duty 24 hours, and the pool was large and clean. We had our dog with us and the hotel is pet friendly without charge. And to top it all off, hot breakfast (ordered off the menu at the adjoining restaurant) was complimentary! Prices are reasonable -- we will stay here again. ¡Muchas gracias!
