Redland Market Village is one of those places that just feels alive. If you're looking for a fun…read moreweekend outing with the family, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. There are tons of vendors, plenty of produce, food trucks, fresh juices, games and rides for kids, lots of parking, and enough things to see that you can easily spend a few hours just wandering around. My favorite part, and honestly the main reason I keep coming back, is La Fontana Verde. If you love herbs, teas, tinctures, and natural wellness, do yourself a favor and stop in. The owners are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My family and I always end up asking a million questions, and they never make us feel rushed. They genuinely care and are always willing to share their knowledge. It's become our go-to herb shop. The produce selection at the market is huge, and it's actually kind of fun comparing prices between vendors. My only wish is that there were more certified organic fruits and vegetables available. If organic produce is your top priority, that may be a downside. But if you're looking for seasonal fruits, including seeded watermelons (yes, fruit is supposed to have seeds!), you'll find plenty of options. Another bonus is that parts of the market are covered, so even if Florida decides to randomly rain on your plans, you can still enjoy walking around. Overall, Redland Market Village is a South Florida staple. Come for the produce, stay for the Seeded fruit, and definitely don't leave without stopping by La Fontana Verde.

You can easily spend a day browsing here but I was just looking for tropical fruits which I found a good variety of them.

When I went to look for another pair for family the loss prevention person stared at me when I was looking for a bigger size for my family. He had stop and followed me on every aisle. When I stop and look at him to ask him why was he following us , he then walked away and got on the radio. That when he had peek around the aisle I was putting on the shoes to see if my family liked the shoes so I could buy them. When looked up I saw him looking at us then the moment he noticed I was looking at him following and staring he had turn and walked back to the front. Then is when another loss prevention person came and started doing the same thing. At that point I was ready to just leave the pair of shoes that my family had wanted because I felt like we being harassed and followed by the loss prevention people. However my family had convince me to look for a pair of shoes and we went to the mens side to look for some shoes for me. That when we noticed another loss prevention person following us on each aisle. When I ask the female loss prevention how may I help you she came around the corner and was like is anything wrong , I asked her why is her and the other loss prevention people following us she was like oh sorry and I ask for her name told me her name and the other guy name then walked away. When we were walking to go to the checkout line it was a third loss prevention guy looking at us as we was walking to checkout . Then ask for the number to corporate the cashier point to another employee and told me to talk to them. When I brought the incident to the other ross employee she was with another loss prevention guy and when I telling them what happened they did apologize for the others loss preventions employees. However I don't think it was right for paying customers to get treated like me and my family to get followed and harassed by those other loss prevention personals. I am thinking filing paperwork. But I want to talk with someone from the coproate office first. I called twice and got no answer. So I will be calling tomorrow or next week.

I did find some interesting garment items that I have not seen in other places. The unfortunate issue was that the ladies dressing room had no a/c which made it not so great to trying on clothing. The cashier was funny when we asked for our senior discount and when asked to guess my age she was about 20 years younger, very flattering. I hope this will not close as they were and have been one of the better stocked and viable stores.
