Over the years, the pieces were scratched and a little beat up from moving several times and also from normal wear and tear. Nino did an extraordinary job restoring this beautiful set. He kept us informed of the progress via text and phone calls and took great care to help me choose the final finish. He is extremely professional and takes great pride in his craft. The end result is a stunning new bedroom set that would probably cost thousands if we were to purchase it today. The end result truly exceeded our expectations!

Nino saved the day, plain and simple. I'm forever grateful to Nino for his incredible…read moreprofessionalism, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Let me start at the beginning, I found Nino here on Yelp. I have a table that is 98 years old that I inherited from my mother that I grew up eating dinner at every day. Admittedly, the table has more sentimental value than anything else, but it was in need of bad repair. So onto Yelp I go to find someone....I'm not from Staten Island I needed to find someone. So Nino only has two reviews....so I get on Google....here we go. You'd never know it unless you ask but Nino has done work for celebrities and politicians and antique owners. Point being--If you're looking for craftsmanship, quality and care---you've come to the right place. If you're looking for a $20 super glue job, Nino isn't your guy. Nino examined my table carefully in my home, quoted me a price, and collected my table. He level set expectations because the table was in tough shape, but said he would do what he could to restore it. To be honest, listen...a 70+ year old Sicilian man shows up to your house with hands that look like his... Listen, either you know he knows what he's doing or you're wrong. Nino called two weeks later and let me know he'd finished the table. Imagine my surprise when he delivered an entirely different piece of furniture. What I mean to say is...this table NEVER looked this beautiful when my mother had it... He took the time to show me how I knew it was built in 1920, where he'd made modifications to preserve it and how to care for it going forward. He was worth every penny I paid and I'll be referring him business as much as I can for as long as I can. Nino, thank you for making my dreams of having my little ones eat at this table come true!

My Baker Furniture mahogany pedestal drum table was damaged during a move to my apartment. I was worried that the table, one of my favorite pieces of furniture, with two of three legs separating from the pedestal base, would never be the same, unable to support the weight of a simple table top lamp and unusable. Lorenzo and his team at Bedford Refinishing handcrafted an exact copy of the original pedestal base, reattached the new base to the upper pedestal and secured three brass-capped legs to the pedestal. The mahogany, the cut, the seams, the fit and finish are beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you want to keep your favorite furniture looking new, or repair valuable family heirloom or antique pieces that you'll be proud to pass on to future generations, call Bedford Refinishing for quality work and exceptional service from craftsmen who take great pride in their incredible skill.
