My initial term was fine overall. I did not use the office much even then, but as the term was…read moreending I chose to stay, assuming I could terminate later if my situation changed. That turned out not to be the case. This is not a traditional lease but a license agreement that automatically renews for another 12 months if notice is not given at the end of the initial term. There is no new lease to sign and no early termination or buyout option, so you remain financially responsible for the full renewal period. I barely used the office before, have not used it at all since October 2025, and after relocating over an hour away it is now completely unreasonable for me to travel back just to use the space. They said they could rent the space to someone else if someone is interested, but based on how their agreement is structured and how strongly it ensures you stay financially obligated it honestly makes little sense to expect that. They have multiple vacant offices they can rent out while continuing to charge you, so realistically they want you to stay financially responsible even while presenting it as if they are helping. If you stay beyond the initial term, make sure nothing in your situation might change because you could easily end up paying for a space you no longer use.

They do not take responsibility for anything, including returning deposits as written in the Lease Agreement. The reps (Shannon and Kylan) refuse to let tenants talk directly with the CEO when there's an issue. The top management may very well be aware of the problem and do nothing about. It trickles down from there. Most recent issue is getting back our initial deposit. Lease Agreement states it will be returned within 60 days of the end of the lease term. That has not happened. Have inquired several times and get excuses that accounting is backed up. Then a real smart middle manager (Kylan) tried to re-state the Agreement in non-sensible language and absolutely stupid terms that do not exist anywhere. She should be fired immediately for that BS. May take a lawsuit to resolve this issue. Lucid Private Offices have been dishonest and unethical in our experience.

I visited on Thursday (drove 3 hours round trip) to meet and get everything set up as I planned to use the office on Saturday to meet several clients. Friday morning I got an email saying my digital access (key to get in the door) had been deleted. I called to check on things and to see why this happened. I was told that they were "resetting the system and everything would be fine". The manager Kaitlyn told me things would be back up by noon and that she would personally check on my account. I could not leave my important Saturday morning meetings to chance, so I again, drove 1.5 hours north to make sure my digital access key worked. I arrived before 5pm and waited until closing and checked to make sure it was working and at that time it was, with 2 employees assistance. On my way back, I received an email at 5:57 saying "Please be advised that your access to NuvoDesk Coworking has been revoked. Should you require further information, please contact an administrator on your site or contact SALTO Support. Best Regards Salto KS" The Support link goes nowhere to anyone that can provide any help and Nuvodesk has ZERO after hours support. Fortunately, I found Venture-X. They are less than 3 miles from my home and they had exactly what I need - a great place to think and to work. I signed a 6 month lease for a private office and I have been smashing my work ever since. I have 24-hour, 7 days a week access. The internet is great (both wired and WiFi), the fully automatic expresso machine makes great expressos, etc. They even found a place for me to park my bike. As nice as the facilities are, what really makes this place special is the staff - Ron, Hina, & Hira. I had lots of questions at first and they were very kind and patient with me. They facilitated all my requests and just did a great job of welcoming me. It is nice when you walk into a place and the first thing you hear is "Hi John", etc. The spread they put out for a Thanksgiving lunch was serious (see picture). The location is excellent - right in the Fairview Village, across from The Revolving Kitchen. If you are looking for workspace, you need to check out Venture-X - they also have conference rooms and several different types of workspaces. Highly recommended.
