So,I called my new pharmacy right at 9:00 AM,when they opened I explained that I was a new costumer. And I had made sure I called at that time because there is a medication I get that pharmacies usually need to order. So the person I spoke to said it would be ok and she would get info from my old pharm and I specifically told them my phone # and told her that that one med usually needed ordering and she said she would get them ready. So,I couldn't make it in until 6 pm that evening. The lady (who really did have a stink ass attitude and was clearly not glad to help anyone) She hands me only one of my Rx's. I asked her where the other was. She says she needs to order it and since it was so late in the day,it wouldn't arrive till Weds (it was Mon). So,this really pisses me off,since I live so far away and kinda need my Rx AND I had called prompt right when they open. It also messes up the timing of me getting my meds all at once,kinda don't want to spend all my money on gas.. But, whatever I decided to just go with it. However when Wednesday came I went in to pick it up,that same same miserable lady was working. They did manage to get the med in (bravo). But her attitude was really off putting. She asked to say the last 4 digits of my phone number (after I just gave it her) and I didn't quite catch what she said I asked her to repeat and she barks it at me. FU. I'm done with them

Much later when another family member tried to pick it up, it turned out, they didn't HAVE the med in stock and never notified anyone. At that point other nearby Walgreens were closed or closing so it couldn't be had the same evening. I asked why they didn't notify. "I didn't have the staff to call," was the answer. Disappointing and dangerous way to run a pharmacy. If in medical danger, this could mean the difference between treatment and having to go to the Emergency Room at the hospital. Disappoined. More of this kind of failure and they could be sued.

It is gratifying to be cared about in finding things at a store when one has little time to read all the signs, or, When a person is unable or uncertain how to locate an item! The store is packed with such a variety of cards, seasonal items, pharmaceutical access and all the usual products that modern day pharmacies offer. An Erica, that works at the pharmacy, was an outstanding help to me the other day. She took the time to research my insurance through the computer and "re-bill" me . This took time but l so appreciated her professionalism and personal concern that l be accurately labeled and billed correctly. I am a frequent shopper at Walgreens, and the staff consistently is kind and helpful ; but l would be remiss if l did not acknowledge Charie, who has been the most personable and professional throughout the years. This woman deserves an AWARD for epic service to the public on behalf of Walgreens. I highly recommend this South Burlington Walgreens. Claims they have no computer or phone anywhere in the building, to find the phone number of another pharmacy. Even though I know for a fact, that they do. I will never go to this location again after receiving unnecessary rude treatment by one of their…read moresnooty cashiers. I rarely shop at this location but because I was in the area I decided to stop in and if I had known I was going to be treated like a criminal I would have never bothered. I had picked up a bottle of antihistamine along with a bunch of other stuff which ended up being over 100 bucks. When it was my turn to check out everything was going fine until the cashier asked me for my ID. Now, if I was purchasing alcohol I would have totally understood them wanting to verify my age but I have never been carded for trying to purchase allergy medication. I will be 40 in April which I told the cashier but she was like nope I need to see your ID and made me go back outside to my car to get it. Mind you, it's the middle of January and it was cold and snowing and there were other people waiting to check out and only one cashier. When I came back and gave her my ID she then proceeds to rub it thinking it's fake. I felt like she was singling me out and her snotty attitude didn't help. Luckily there are other places like this for me to shop at where I'm not treated like a criminal and this cashier needs to be fired so that she cannot treat people like crap.
