We were able to stay nearby which made it an even better time. Fast forward to today, I surprised my boyfriend with Top Golf which not only has more than you can bargain for, when you're done you can bowl if there's a slot, play in the casino, go have a bite at what looks like two awesome restaurants or grab a drink at Bar West or Brickhouse Kitchen. We took the scenic route, so about 2 hours to get there and 2 hours home. Definitely worth it. We will definitely be back for Top Golf again, the casino and absolutely trying the bowling and billiards!!

I have also taken a lesson from him and he is concise and uses technology to reinforce his teaching without becoming too technical which as an old guy I appreciate. The fact that he talks with me rather than at me is also a sign of an excellent teacher. Secondly, he is an exceptional businessman. I have purchased, traded with, and been nothing but satisfied with the work his does and the merchandise he sells. I would not make a golf purchase without first checking out what he has in stock and the deals that he will offer for your business.

The beach will be filled with children playing in the sand, learning to swim, and meeting new friends. Others of all ages will be enjoying a day-trip picnic, or a round of golf, or some quiet fishing. Why? A spring-fed pristine lake kept quiet by an absence of power boats. 100+ simple cabins nestled above the lake on one side amid long-growth trees. An excellent 18-hole golf course on the other side of the lake. A central Club House with a great restaurant. And most of all, affordability! This is the kind of club where even young adults and young families can afford to be members. I don't know why this is listed under "entertainment" when it is really a full-service country club with the plus of having on-site seasonal living available. I mean, where else these days could you find a "summer home" ready to move into for as little as $20,000? (No, I did not lose a zero - that is twenty thousand dollars for a summer home - along with all the amenities, with only an annual membership and cottage charge of about $2500. As we say, Cedar Lake Club is Cental New York's best kept secret.

We rounded up our adult children and made them come with us to check out the park. To be honest, this amusement park is far from it's prime. I'm sure back in the day when it first opened, it probably was so much more exciting and fun. The amusement park looks really run down. Some of the game stands were looking pretty sad. There were a lot of arcade type spots, some were nice and some needed some tlc. There were a few of the rides that were open and operating. Some were still down. The roller-coaster gives you some butterflies while riding it but it's still very tiny. It's about 8 bucks for a very fast ride. So, you're really paying for the core memory of the ride and not the ride itself. I can see this joint being fun for kids and teens. They don't know any better. The bright lights and arcade games is exciting for them. For my older kids who are in their early 20's, we were able to distract them with a few games for some tickets but the interest didn't last long. For a smaller amusement park, it does it's job. It would be a fun date night just to walk the beach, share a fry bread and ride the roller coaster. I'm happy I got to check it out with my little family tonight. It wasn't the most exciting but we got to share time and create some memories together hanging out at the amusement park tonight.
