According to them the cover was bent. It had sat in my car with absolutely no use for a week. I explained that the bend was from shelf wear..not my car but they wouldn't have it. I appealed to their shift manager who again told me the same thing and then asked me to leave. How embarrassing!!! I left the book on the counter, attempting to give them the book for free so that it could find another home that needed it and they refused to take it back as a gift saying it was used. For a campus that prides itself on sustainable behaviors I found this totally silly! I walked down to the library and left it there like it was some sort of peace offering. Anyway..now I go out of my way to use Amazon, eBay and other online resources to get books for my Steiner training...and I have found it is much cheaper and way more friendly!
