Got my nails done and they messed them up. I pointed out that they were curved up and she just looked at me and told me to pay. Wouldnt fix them. The nail technician acted like she couldn't understand what I was saying and was rushing me out the door. I had to go to somewhere else to get them fixed. If I could give a 0 stars I would. Save your money and go with someone else. read more

They are always a delight, do amazing work. My feet and hands look and feel great. Super nice, clean and always get me in.

My friends and I went to this place and we decided to get gel tips, they were very rough with the nail file, and pull out your hangnails. Their equipment isn't very clean and the place is pretty run-down. One of my friend's nail techs was very rough with the drill and would pull her hand. Her nails ended up very uneven and very lumpy. My nails turned out decent but my nail tech wasn't gentle nor welcoming. The staff seems nice, they just aren't very welconing. read more

horrible! painted gel over my cuticles, charged me the same price for acrylics, but I got gel on my regular nails. they also did a horrible paint job it's all bumpy and the sides of my nails were not painted. will never come here again. read more

This place is cleanish. That's about it. It's old, run down and outdated. $25 pedicure is nice but you get what your pay for.. Not a lot. I had to have the lady redo my polish because it was so old that it bubbled up as it dried. And she did a terrible job painting them. Not impressed. I don't recommend this place. read more

My husband took me here because his friend, Nina, owns this place and it gave us something to do for an hour or so. I decided to go get a mani/pedi. I got rid of my acrylics a few months ago so it was a regular manicure. They recently renovated their establishment and have spa chairs for pedicures. This was awesome being that I was out of town and missed my massage this week. The massage chairs really do massage. I'm pretty picky about my nail salons and have been going to the same manicurist for 16 years now. This place was on par though. They add disinfectant to the water, make sure that all of the instruments that they use are in disinfectant, and even wear latex gloves while doing most of the pedicure. They even bust out sea salts to scrub your feet while doing the massage. While I'm not big on cheating on my manicurist, it gave me something to do while in town and made me feel pretty. :) read more

I've got to Crystal Nails before, but it had been a while because i always seem disappointed after I leave. Yesterday i went again because that is where my friends wanted to get theirs down. I regret it majorly. I just got a gel manicure, but now my fingers are all cut up around the cuticle because they use a drill thing to remove the polish. With that and the fact that they are trying to rush you through and get you finished, my fingers are red and angry looking today and very sore! They weren't busy yet they were still rushing us. Add in that you always feel like they are talking about you when they talk in their native language. Just seems rude tor rush. I will not be going back there. I've paid less for a better gel manicure and much better service!! read more

The people are nice but really pushy in trying to upgrade you to a more expensive pedicure. I also got told that I needed a manicure. I said I didn't want one but they kept pushing me anyway. I felt really uncomfortable because they kept talking in Their native language and laughing at us. I will never return again! read more

Crystal Nails is my "GO TO" place for great looking organic dip powder manicures! I love the color options, the service I receive is ALWAYS "top notch", and over the years I've developed a great relationship with the girls there. My favorites are Rita and Nina ;-) They always listen to what I want, and are patient with me in showing them the art from Pinterest that I want for my nails. Beautiful artwork, personal attention, and I love visiting with them when i am in for a pedi or a mani. I always recommend this shop! Crystal Nails is my "Happy Place". I'm not a picky person and even have wrote a review but this place rib me off and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. One crazy how they charge way more then what they posted. I got the 25$ nails ended up being 40$ they charge me for the shape the cut and she didn't even clean my hang nails or cuticles and she didn't even clean the extra nail polish she put on my skin. my nails are so bad and bumpy and not even straight read more

This place is outrageous in price for service provided. I only rate a one because there isn't a lower star. They are fast because they don't provide a foot/leg massage with pedicure. They also don't have you wash hands between filing and polishing with lackluster manicure and no lotion even applied. read more

This is way over priced for what it really is, if you're willing to drop 60 dollars in one trip to get the bare minimum then this is your place! I was continually being pushed into paying more and upgrading. I went in looking to spend 30 dollars for my homecoming nails and ended up spending 95 dollars!!!! I was not impressed with the French manicure I received. I asked for a coffin shape and my nails came out square and sharp. I also received a little attitude from my technician when I had changed my mind from color to French, and when I asked her why I had been charged five dollars more, she did not respond kindly at all. I went back a bit later to ask for a removal in a quiet and polite manner, and she got extremely defensive and started yelling in the middle of the salon. She said that she had been very patient with me and my mother (who was nothing but polite, and was actually happy with her nails) after I had changed my mind so much. And as someone who is very sensitive and has a lot of anxiety, I did not deal with the situation very well, and I left the store crying. The technicians are pushy, rude, and incompetent. I don't recommend this place AT ALL. I would prefer it if they went out of business. read more

I've lived in emporia for 6yrs now and I'm a city girl all the I needed good quality nails and certainly someone with the know how to do all the latest styles. Not able to make a trip back to my hometown I tried crystal nails and I've never turned back. No more hour trips to get my nails done. Yippee!
