My parents are buried here but I went a different path with my brother and just ordered urns and a grave marker from Lakewood. When an urn came in with the wrong symbol they made it right. They are also timely in answering questions. On Memorial weekend you can even buy flowers when you drive in and they have ground urns available for use. My only complaint is how they numbered the cemetery. Have a cemetery map handy as the section numbers do not go in order. You will need it if you make a wrong turn.

We chose Mueller-Bies because some of us had attended services there before and because the location was good for us. They handled everything very well and with much respect. Some things I liked were: we had the entire facility at our disposal - no competing services. We hadn't decided what to do with her ashes at that time and didn't want to buy an urn yet so they put out a "loaner" during the service. Only family knew that she wasn't actually in there. (I guess the secret is out.) They had a number of nice card designs to choose from and different wording choices for us so we didn't have to think about it. He was very experienced with obituaries and helped us through that as well. I wish I could remember his name but as you can probably understand we were emotional at the time. They were very accommodating to the type of service we chose to have complete with allowing us to provide music and bring in our own deacon. Hopefully I won't need their services again for some time, but I will remember them.

When it came time to fulfill these services, they were absolutely wonderful to work with. Crescent Tide was professional from the minute they arrived at the home, to the minute that they loaded my mother's body and left. I truly appreciated the care and concern they took through the whole process, they even made sure all items on my mom where wanting to be with her because I wouldn't get anything back. They also had a beautiful large patchwork quilt that was homemade by one of the worker's mother's to cover my mother with as they moved her. I just truly felt the compassion and care from Crescent Tide. The other thing to note is the paperwork. They made everything extremely simplistic and easy to navigate, which I appreciate. From hassle free electronic signing to in-person options as well, they did their best to accommodate to my mother's wishes and my needs during this hard time. When her ashes were ready they had a nice selection of urns to choose from if you wanted, while also providing a plastic container with sprinkling remains. They also give the option for dividing up remains as you like at no extra charge and will even let you bring in an external urn if you have one ~ you really can't beat that! Pricing is very competitive as well. I appreciate the simplicity that Crescent Tide offers when it comes to just wanting basic cremation services. Everything they said they would do is exactly done to a "t". They are an ethical company that takes pride in their business and keeping pricing affordable for their customers. I highly encourage you to consider this company in your estate planning if you or any family members are interested in cremation. During Labor Day weekend this year, I had the incredibly heartbreaking experience of taking my…read morefather off of life support. Soon after, I spoke with my family about next steps, and my brother found Huber Funeral Homes. Of all the places he called, Chad, the program director there, picked up immediately. He said he could meet with us the morning of Labor day (the next day) to review booking a date, pricing, and answer any questions. We had the meeting around 10 am, and he professionally arrived early in a suit. He gave us the information, and we felt comfortable enough to go with him. He also gave us a folder with all the information not only about the funeral, but also about what to do after one loses someone. I appreciated that. The day before the funeral, Huber Funeral Homes coordinated with the hospital (where my father passed), embalmed him, and transported him to their location. We had to think of so much that day; I'm glad they took care of everything. The day and a half I had to organize the funeral, I worked with Chat to have a program printed, and he gave me so much flexibility in getting those materials to him. When I arrived, they already had my father, flowers, and everything else setup. They accommodated us and our request, for a Buddhist funeral, too. After the ceremony and reception, they coordinated a funeral procession to Lakewood Cemetery where they cremated my father. They hired law enforcement to literally stop traffic, for us, as we traveled from Eden Prairie to Minneapolis. I hate the fact I'm writing a review about a Funeral Home, but Huber is a business, with locals working there, too. And they did such a good job that when an awful event like the loss of a loved-one occurs, trust Huber Funeral Homes to help make the worst time in your life a little bit easier.

Took a load of paperwork off my shoulders and my wife's. We made the determinations of cost and wishes. Comparing cost for a funeral was in line with what we have seen for other family members. The manner in which Steve Rogers was empathic was very helpful. I feel better knowing I will not pass on to our children any financial burdens when I pass.
