When my husband and I decided we wanted to get married in Barcelona, I immediately reached out to several wedding planners. Karolina was the first to reply and was the most on the ball, which is what I was looking for in a wedding planner. From the moment we Skyped with her I knew that was it and we didn't need to look any further. She organized everything, gave us enough options but didn't overwhelm us and took care of literally EVERYTHING. My husband had endless questions and requests and she was always patient (more so than me lol). All the vendors she works with are fantastic too which is a testament to Karolina's wonderful relationships with them! My husband was worried about being able to integrate his Syrian traditions with my American ones, but Karolina pulled it off and always made really wonderful suggestions and was sensitive and accommodating to the differences in culture. Our wedding day was flawless and even despite the threat of rain, Karolina handled the last minute changes easily! I couldn't have asked for a better and more perfect day, nor a better wedding planner!

I had video chatted with a few other wedding planners in Barcelona, and Karolina was the only one who was willing to work with our budget. Other planners I spoke with suggested we make a higher budget. From the beginning Karolina was very organized and always made herself available, via email, Whatsapp, and video chat. She helped us keep everything organized and when we arrived in Barcelona, she immediately met with us to go over all the wedding details, etc. The wedding day itself went perfectly. Karolina was at our wedding from start to finish. She even went to meet our guests at our pick up location and loaded them on the buses to ensure the transportation went smoothly. She stayed with our planned schedule for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, etc., but never made our guests feel rushed. We were stress free on the day of our wedding because Karolina was so organized and on top of everything. We are so happy with the services she provided and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Karolina!

A HUGE thank you to Salvador and Adam (Costa and Mason) for planning the most perfect wedding…read moreweekend for us. It was an international wedding and we both have demanding jobs so were worried about planning the wedding, but Salvador took away all that stress and managed everything for us. They kept the whole planning process fun and laid-back, which was exactly what we wanted. We had a couple of trips over to look at venues and choose the menus and table decor and they were really fun, enjoyable days. The wedding day itself was a fairytale, all of our guests said they had never and would never be to another wedding like it. Adam told us we'd get the comment 'It's like a movie' and we did!! All of the recommended vendors were fantastic. Some ideas we'd never have thought of on our own (like the flamenco dancers!) were incredible and an absolute highlight of the day. Co-ordination on the day was spot on - if we wanted anything, Salvador made it happen instantly and kept us on time for things, made sure we took the photos we needed. The day flew by so quickly so that day-of support was integral. Adam was our celebrant and did a beautiful job - so many people said how personal, fun, and heartfelt the ceremony was. There were lots of tears and laugher! The events before and after were perfect too, a great way to round off the wedding and ensure we had the time to speak to all our guests. The locations, food, and drink were all exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much both of you for orchestrating the most beautiful, emotional, and perfect weekend - we loved every second and wish we could do it all again!

Salvador and Adam guided us effortlessly, introduced us to the best vendors and helped us shape a vision that somehow turned out even more beautiful than what we had imagined. What amazed us most was not just their talent, but their passion and kind hearts. They cared about every detail, every emotion, every moment. They were always patient, kind, and truly invested in making sure the day felt uniquely us. They didn't just plan our wedding -- they understood it! Our welcome party and most importantly our wedding day were seamless in a way that almost didn't feel real - literally, a true fairytale. We were able to be present, to laugh, to cry, to dance, to take it all in -- because we knew they had everything handled with grace and ease. And it wasn't just us who felt it. Our guests could not stop talking about how incredible the entire weekend was. People are still messaging us to say how blown away they were -- and almost every single one has mentioned how amazing and engaging our planners were. Their creativity, their style, their magic -- showed in every way! We walked away not only with the wedding of our dreams, but with two people we now consider dear friends. Friends who know our love story, who pushed our vision (even with a rain scare), and who left us with memories we will cherish forever. The went above and beyond and we can't stop raving about them both! Salvador and Adam -- thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Barcelona will always have a piece of our love story, and you will always be part of it. Absolutely unforgettable. From the very first call, Salvador and Adam were the magic ingredient to our wedding dream. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming on its own -- but planning one across the world, in a city we had never planned anything in before, felt impossible. What truly set them apart wasn't just their expertise -- it was their passion. They cared deeply about every detail, every feeling, every moment of the experience. Their kindness, patience, and sincerity were felt in every conversation and every decision. They didn't just plan our wedding -- they understood it. They understood us. We were able to be fully present, to laugh, cry, dance, and truly soak in every moment, because we knew Salvador and Adam were there holding everything together with such grace and intention. And our guests felt it too. Weeks later, people are still messaging us, saying it was one of the most incredible weddings they have ever attended -- and nearly every single person comments on how wonderful, attentive, and engaging our planners were. They didn't just run the weekend; they elevated it. Their creativity, their style, and their magic -- it showed in every way. Even when a little rain rolled in, they kept us calm and encouraging us to embrace the moment rather than fear it. They took thoughtful risks, trusted the vision, and created something breathtaking even with a few raindrops! We walked away not only with the wedding of our dreams, but with two people we now consider dear friends. The level of care we received at this facility is nothing short of wonderful…read more We were referred here by our insurance company (DKV). [Note: we had to buy a private plan upon moving to Spain, as we didn't pay into Spain's social healthcare system - we didn't move here until after we'd retired.] It was our first hospital experience here (and hopefully our last), but - WOW. I've lived in the States most of my life, and American health care is all that I've been accustomed to. THIS was certainly not THAT. While I don't mean to disparage the US healthcare system, here's what we found: Background: Sunday night of a holiday weekend, my wife trips and falls, breaking her upper humerus. We didn't realize it was broken, and she didn't want to go get X-rayed... until I insisted on Tuesday. She was seen by a traumatologist at our local clinic, who after examining the X-rays, scheduled her surgery for Thursday. It turns out the bone had broken in several places, and the humeral head had rotated. Eek. We were greeted at the hospital by her surgical team: an anesthesiologist and two surgeons - each of which spoke passable to very good English. They explained the procedure, and off she went to the OR! I stayed in her private room (this hospital doesn't have traditional multiple-patient rooms) and awaited word. The nurse checked on me a few times to see if there was anything I needed. (Really? Checked on me?!?) When my wife was through recovery, both of the surgeons accompanied her into the room to explain what they found, and how they had repaired the break - but also to explain what to expect during the healing process; the physical therapy, etc. They were very thorough, and repeated whatever I needed them to. The nurse was available almost instantaneously. Any time my wife or I rang the buzzer, it would be answered within 30 seconds, and the nurse would be in the room in under one minute. Every. Time. It didn't matter what shift, or what time of day - the nursing care here was far superior to anything I'd ever experienced in the States. And NO, this is not a slap at the American nursing community - they are some of the hardest working people I know! It's just that this hospital has SUCH a wonderful staff-to-patient ratio, that it makes this "personal" care possible. For our floor there was one nurse for every three patients during the day, and one for four overnight. Speaking of overnight, each room is equipped with a full sized sofa which opens into a single bed for family. Instead of chasing visitors away when "visiting hours" are over, here they encourage a family member to stay, comfortably, to help the convalescing process. I was stunned! Let's talk hospital food: Since my wife's surgery was orthopaedic, they did not put any dietary restrictions on her. The food tasted like restaurant food. Real, honest-to-goodness, flavorful, plentiful food. They also asked if I wanted a tray for myself! One of her surgeons visited her on Friday and Saturday, and remarked on her progress. My wife asked when she could go home, and the doctor said she could leave that afternoon, unless she WANTED to stay another day. This was NOTHING like the revolving-bed practices I've seen in the States! Granted, this hospital is NOT a part of the social Spanish health care system. We were not eligible for that. I am SO GLAD that my wife was cared for at Clinica Corachan!

We traveled from the US so a loved one could have a noninvasive procedure that is not yet available…read morein the US. I was nervous before the procedure because I had read some unflattering reviews of Clinica Corachan. I really believe that most of those reviews reflect frustration with ER wait times. My loved one's in-patient experience in Coarachan 1 was PHENOMENAL. Much of the hospital has been renovated and updated. The remaining parts of the hospital are currently being updated. The hospital was clean, organized, aesthetically pleasing and well organized. The health professionals collaborated much more effectively and efficiently than teams I have seen in the US. I have had many friends and family undergo surgeries in the US, at very respected highly rated hospitals and I have never seen this degree of interdisciplinary collaboration. My son was very comfortable and well cared for at all times. The food looked yummy but he was nauseated from the procedure so he didn't try it, but if was very very healthy beautiful food such as baked fish and rice. I wished I could eat his meals too... but I wanted nursing staff to be aware that he wasn't eating so I ate meals from the hospital restaurant. This is a really good hospital.
