I actually never even got in to see Dr Pluhar. I am a local TC resident was in a car accident and…read morewas referred to this chirpractor by my Mother, who has referred MANY patients. the receptionist was SO UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. Literally told me she " couldn't help me" when I told her I had been in an accident and was in severe pain and looking for an appointment sooner than the next available ( 8 days from when I was calling.) I understand how appointments work but I also know that there are exceptions and when someone has had an accident and is in pain you could at least offer to put them on a cancellation list or speak to the doctor. The front desk is the first impression of any business and referrals are the greatest compliment. This receptionist left much to be desired, and because of her you lost a potential life long patient. Dr. Pluhar, I hear great things about your work and I'm sure you would have helped me if you were aware of the situation at hand. However, maybe it's time for a new receptionist who actually acts like she cares about YOUR existing or potential patients when they call to make their appointment.

Dr. Burke recommended a spinal cord stimulator and the stimulator failed causing me great pain in places I did not have prior to the insertion of the spinal cord stimulator. My pain is intense and I cannot tolerate regular procedures. Dr. Burke was aware of this yet continued to try and treat my pain and with lack of pain control during procedures i was left yelling in pain during procedures. I asked for sedation during my pain procedure and what eas offered was minimal. He agreed to take me to Copper Ridge to sedate me so I could get treated... I waited 5 weeks for my appointment. Friday arrived and no call from Dr. Burke or his office. Come to find out they canceled my appt at copper ridge and basically said my pain isnt enough to be treated at copper ridge. When I called his office Friday morning his wife Kimberly got on the phone and said we have done enough to accommodate your pain and will not be taking you to the surgery center for sedation for your procedure. She has no business doing this and has caused issues in the procedure room with Dr Burke in the past. All they care about is sticking you with a stimulator.
