Once we stepped in, we were warmly greeted with a lively dining room, and were quite surprised with the diversity and uniqueness of the menu. We started with Canadian old-fashions, and crab cakes. For dinner had their bus 16 oz steak special which was very nicely done, and the rabbi pasta. We Wish we had more room to try the pizzas because they looked great. We Finished it off with the peanut butter cheesecake. The waitress was charming and very helpful with making our decisions, even though she was supporting a very busy room. A real gem for thunder Bay, great place and great value. It's well worth the five minute drive away from the touristy downtown choices.

They accept US dollars here, which is good news for people coming from the US...however, as of the time I write this review, 1 Canada dollar is equal to about 89 US cents, and if you give them US money, they treat it as Canadian money. In other words, $50 CAD is equal to $50 USD there. It's slightly a ripoff with the exchange rates nowadays. Most US Applebee's have free wifi, but I guess the Canadian restaurants don't, or maybe it was just the particular place we went to. Overall, everything was good. We may come back if we do come back to Thunder Bay.
