Issue: 60yo man, back and neck injuries from a terrible vehicle accident…read moreAt first no appt. avail. but when we explained it was due to an accident they said they could take K as a "triage" patient with Dr. Murphy. 2pm appt. finally called back at 3:30pm. The PA Rodney was curt, rude and rushed. Gave K a script for steroids said we needed to make an appt for an MRI-that was all he could do. He started to leave the room, and I asked him a question about the MRI, and he said "I have other patients, you are holding me up." WOW. Well, we expected to get an MRI appt before we left. Nope. Someone would call. Waited in pain for days for that call. Finally called to inquire why, they said it takes up to a week for the office to process paperwork and approved by ins. before they can make an appt! K called insurance co. himself and facilitated an approval. We left with the office, disability papers that K needed filled out for work. They said it would cost $20 and would take a week. Finally had the MRI & went for the follow up appt. when PA Rodney tells us that K has arthritis in his neck and it looks worse than his back. Okay, but that was never an issue before, and the problem is the pain from the accident not arthritis. We were confused at his vague explanations of what was on the MRI, so in a huff, he said to us "it would just be easier to show you" and he gets up and walks out. Is he coming back? Are we supposed to follow? After a few minutes we get up to see if we were supposed to follow. PA Rodney returned and he pulls up the MRI films on a monitor. He quickly scrolls through images pointing out things without much explanation, then takes us back into the room and starts talking about the arthritis. K asked about the pain in his back! PA Rodney says he could give him shots of a numbing agent/steroids' in his back, which K was none too excited about. At which point PA Rodney tells him it's that or surgery. Me: "There's nothing else that can be done?" He said "Nope, you want the shots or not?" K says yes, PA Rodney is out the door again, without a word. Finally PA Rodney returns to do the shot and starts gingerly poking K's back asking where it hurt...I thought K was gonna fall over in pain with all the poking! The disrespectfulness was horrific. An hour after we're home and Ks pain is worse than the day of the accident. He called the dr. office to see if this was 'normal' pain.... not ONE SINGLE LIVE PERSON TO SPEAK TO. K literally tried every.single.extention that was on the recording and could not find a live person to talk to. It was 4:15pm Fri, the recording said if a patient calls after 4pm, the call will be returned the following business day! In pain & frustrated K left a vm that he needed to be called back immediately or he'd be pissed. Mon afternoon pain finally subsided back to what it was JUST BEFORE PA Rodney administered shots-no better. Did we get a call Monday? Nope. Tues K called to ask about the disability paperwork, no one Knew what he was talking about. It's been 2 wks that they've had it now. Someone will call. No call. Wed call again, someone would call. No call. Thurs office manager, said she was headed to lunch but she would definitely call back. By 4pm with no call, and no way to talk to a real person, we drove to the office. K was told that PA Rodney thought that WE were rude, and so he had Dr. Murphy (who we've never seen) kick K out of the practice AND they shredded his disability paperwork! I would give this practice ZERO stars if it were an option. I would never recommend this practice to I cared about. EVER

I have experienced during my stay at Bainbridge Georgia Hospital. I am currently admitted for a…read morepainful infection, with a CT scan showing colitis. Unfortunately, my experience with the day staff has been distressing and far below the standard of care that I believe should be expected from a medical institution. Specifically, I would like to bring to your attention the behavior of Wanda, the individual who answers the call button when I press it. Wanda has been extremely disrespectful to me on multiple occasions, and she continues to hang up on me before our conversations are complete. This first occurred yesterday and again today. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to my well-being and recovery. In addition, I have experienced significant delays in receiving my scheduled pain management medication. Despite my nurse, Jessica, having only two other patients in her care, my medication has been consistently administered hours behind schedule. Jessica claims that she did not receive the messages from the nurse's station, indicating a breakdown in communication and a lack of urgency in addressing patient needs. Here are some quotes from my experience: "When I pressed the call button for assistance, Wanda hung up on me before our conversation was complete. This happened yesterday and again today." "Despite having only two other patients in her care, my nurse, Jessica, administered my pain medication hours behind schedule. She claimed that she did not receive the messages from the nurse's station." The delays in receiving my pain medication have caused me prolonged discomfort and distress, negatively impacting my recovery process. I have already reported this issue to the charge nurse on March 3rd, but no corrective action was taken. Additionally, I emailed the Hospital Complaints Department , but I have not received a response. I am reporting this because I believe that it is crucial to address these issues to ensure that patients are treated with the respect and care they deserve. I kindly request that you address the following matters urgently: Staff should not hang up on patients who have been admitted to the hospital and are calling for help. This behavior is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately. There must be clear and effective communication among the hospital staff to ensure that patient care is not compromised. Delays in administering medication and lack of attention to patient needs cannot continue. Legal References: According to the Patient's Bill of Rights, patients have the right to respectful and considerate care. Under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), patient care information must be communicated effectively and promptly among healthcare providers. Additionally, I am deeply concerned about the impact this lack of respect and communication might have on other patients, especially those who may not be able to speak up for themselves. This is wrong and needs to be rectified. I kindly request a formal investigation into my case and a written explanation of the actions the hospital will take to prevent similar occurrences. Additionally, I expect a formal apology and improvements in hospital policies and procedures to ensure better patient care. I will be following up with the hospital management, patient advocate, ombudsman, and the state health department or regulatory agencies if necessary. Please provide a written response within 14 days outlining the hospital's plan to address this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of these issues.

Robbie Phillips was amazing. He was funny and quirky and made my time there so much better. He answered all my questions I had about the process and was very kind hearted. You can tell he was passionate about his job, so I felt the need to write this review to give him the recognition he deserves. I usually only write reviews if something stands out majorly to me and this great experience was one of them. Rock on Bainbridge, and Rock on Robbie!
