We were able to get an appointment quickly with a piercer who has been in the business for 17 years, which is great to have someone with all that knowledge. It took about 20 minutes to get through the paperwork and have the earrings sanitized and when my daughter sat down she spent additional time walking her through all of the steps and expectations - we were never rushed and all questions were respectfully answered. When my daughter got nervous she stopped and calmly walked her through it and waited until she was fully ready again. The piercing sites were marked where my daughter was able to see before hand and adjust as desired, everything was cleaned and then after the piercing she applied a cold saline cloth which my daughter loved. It has been two weeks and so far the piercings haven't caused any pain - we followed the advice to not turn and clean with saline spray only as needed, which is the exact opposite advice I received decades ago and it has worked fantastically. Also, the earring she got had flat backs so they don't poke into her head, which has also provided better comfort then the shopping mall piercing I received as a child. Additionally, we go back after 8 weeks for them to update her earring size, which provides a smaller rod through her ear since the current earring is longer to account for swelling - this is a great option which I wasn't expecting, there is a lot of thought that goes through this entire process! I highly recommend this for a first piercing for your child. It is far more expensive than a mall piercing but such a better experience that it is definitely worth it!

Both are on the same road just two doors down from each other, so it's not hard to get to either of them. There is plenty of parking on the side of each building as well. I watched everything being opened in front of me, and Kenneth, the piercer, was super amazing at explaining everything as it was happening. The pricing was very reasonable too! It was $35 for a piercing plus $5 for each additional one. The rest of the price depended on jewelry choice and taxes. They had a large selection of quality jewelry. I got the smallest white opal studs from neometal. So I got two nose studs, one on each side of my nose. Initially it was great! But I did go back a few days later to have one removed because it was crooked. Kenneth took it out and scheduled a new appointment to get it redone in a month, all free of charge! It really felt like he cared about making it right. Overall, best piercing experience I've had in Muskegon ever. Highly recommend!

Preston helped me out with placement and overall size for where I wanted (my left shoulder) for the design I came in wanting. He's very professional and friendly and does amazing work. The whole place was clean and had a great vibe to it. Then I came back a year later to get another and I found that they'd moved across the street to a bigger space, with I thought was great. Something that was confusing was that they'd gone from Weber's Ink to South Town Tattoo. I worked with Preston again and he did another wonderful job with the tattoo on my left arm. Then I came back last year and had him do two more on my right arm. As always, the place is clean, full of friendly, professional artists, and I've never had an issue with anything. Totally recommend coming here, especially since this place has never had a complaint from any of my friends or acquaintances, compared to some of the other local joints. All the tattoo artists here know how to translate your ideas into art perfectly.
