All I can say is wow. Just wow. As many brides can attest, planning a wedding makes you realize…read morethat you have opinions on things that you never thought you'd have an opinion on. For me, that was wedding photos. There are a lot of photographers who produce highly stylized - and to be clear, very beautiful - photos. Some give off a dark, glamorous vibe; and others use a sort of tan/whitewashing filter. While I really like those looks, for my wedding, I wanted a photographer whose photos looked less stylized, and more like really good quality, truer-to-life pictures. When I saw Sweetwater's pics, I knew I'd found my photographer...and that was reaffirmed after I chatted with Dutch, and after he helped my husband and me make decisions about where to take photos, what we wanted to capture, etc. On the day of the wedding, Dutch and his team were AWESOME. They were organized, attentive, and kept everyone on track. They were also so fun to work with, and they more than played along with the very goofy sense of humor that my husband and I have. Everyone in my wedding party was talking about them, saying how great they were, and for good reason. They killed it. As for the photos themselves, I've gotten so many compliments since posting them. As self-conscious as I am, they made me feel so beautiful, and I cannot recommend booking them enough. Dutch and his team at Sweetwater are true professionals who know what they're doing and know how to herd tough wedding parties with a firm, yet warm approach. I'm so, SO glad we hired them for our wedding day.

Maxine and Donna were uncooperative and on more than one occasion no shows when I had a scheduled appt. Low quality proofs printed on office stock paper in a loose leaf binder. Consistently avoided phone calls and any efforts to provide me with package purchased. Maxine chose 50 images for album and presented an album which appeared to be printed via a local cvs store and proceeded to tell me any images added to album would cost 150.00 each!!! Years , 13 to be accurate, all attempts have fallen on deaf ears. All i have requested is the package paid for to no avail. I can not recreate the day and just long for my daughter to have her portrait and album of her special day!!! Each time I did reach Maxine, Lou or Donna they asked for JPEG numbers from the proof book ,which I provided. Still no portraits and no album! All I received from Bresner is a runaround and avoidance. To date all I have from my daughters event are memories and 4 5x7s. Certainly not the 6k dollar package that was paid in full!!! Half of which I paid 2 years prior to the event to book the date. At my daughters event we hosted 250 people. sadly, many who are near and dear to us are gone.We have no photos . Photo memories are irreplaceable!!! All I want is for my daughter to have her album and portraits. Very sad !!! It is despicable that Bresner calls themselves professionals and their complete lack of professionalism in their field is beyond comprehension. My daughters photos of her special day are gone forever and irreplaceable . In closure ,all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!! Chose wisely when hiring a photographer to capture your once in a lifetime event!!! It is my hope to prevent anyone to experience this travesty as a memory of their special day/event.

She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and is dedicated to her craft with tremendous passion around delivering works of art. Helena Raju Photography is one of the the best decisions I made for our very special occasion! *********** When I decided that I wanted to hire a professional photographer to capture the moment I proposed to my girlfriend [ now fiance ;) ], I knew that I wanted the absolute best. It's difficult to put a price on a once in a lifetime experience, and so I did my due diligence of researching, calling/vetting photographers as much as I could, and then researching some more. About a month out from the proposal, I came across Helena's website and bookmarked her immediately after seeing some of her work -- they were crisp, detailed, and filled with life. I e-mailed Helena on a Saturday and within 1 hour she responded that she was free on May 11th, 2019. We were set! The day of the shoot, Helena arrived early and worked with myself and the rest of the museum staff to get everything ready/position herself to 'blend in' with atmosphere. I'll note that there's a lot of moving pieces when you're trying to pull off an ultimate proposal (i.e., renting a museum, flying family members in, hiding the family members, working with the museum staff to put on a "fake museum tour" where instead of an art painting, your girlfriend is instead is led to you and asked if she wants to spend the rest of her life with you, etc.). Helena captured EVERY MOMENT of this experience in spectacular fashion. She then spent extra time with us after the proposal leading us around the museum and taking more pictures in various angles and locations. I was incredibly impressed by the extra mile that she took to make sure that we took full advantage of our big day. What I loved most about working with Helena is that she is just so down-to-earth; her high level of empathy and ability to adapt to her customers' expectations and environments is what makes working with her so special. We've had several friends shed tears from just looking at our engagement pictures, and we are still blown away at the portfolio of our engagement delivered by Helena. She's amazing, guys!
