DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They sold us on kayaks and an island tour. Instead, we waited for 2hrs to even board the ship. Then it was more waiting to actually take off. Free alcohol (if you dared) on this awful ship. Some random chicken wings were served to some. Paid extra for a bag of chips. The tour took you to two different snorkeling places, with zero time to actually snorkel. Then you were dropped off at Las Animas Beach where lunch was served. The food was probably the worst we've had on the entire trip. We tried to swim, at your own risk, with boats zooming right past your heads. Unbelievable. We loaded back onto the boat for it to take us back to the marina at 5:30pm. Over 3hrs later, we arrived. What an absolute waste of a day!!! read more

Avoid "The Beach Boys" Tours in Vallarta - Unsafe, Dishonest, and a Total Scam I recently visited Puerto Vallarta with my family, including my mom and little sister, and what was supposed to be a fun beach-hopping tour turned into one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. We booked a tour with The Beach Boys, which promised visits to Los Arcos, Colomitos, and Playa Esmeralda. Instead, it became a dangerous scam that ruined the rest of our trip. Things started off okay--we departed from the Marina around noon and picked up more passengers at Playa Los Muertos (which is where we were actually staying). We were never given the option to be picked up there, but they promised to drop us off. That never happened. At Los Arcos, we got a few nice family photos before everything went downhill. We were told snorkeling was included, but they handed out dirty, worn-out equipment and demanded our IDs as a deposit. If you wanted clean gear, you had to pay extra. As soon as we entered the water, nearly everyone--over 30 people--started feeling sharp stings all over our bodies. Turns out, the area was full of sea fleas. The guides knew and didn't warn us. Instead of being honest, they let us jump in knowing we would get bitten. When we scrambled back to the boat in pain, they casually handed out one tiny packet of cream for the entire group to share. The water was murky, the equipment was gross, and the pain from the bites was unbearable. Then came the second wave of the scam. Once we returned to the boat and gave the equipment back, the guides claimed they didn't see my little sister return hers--which she absolutely did. They refused to give me back my ID unless I paid an additional $600 pesos. It was clear they were looking for any excuse to squeeze more money out of us. Next, we were taken to Playa Esmeralda. It was not scenic, not relaxing, and honestly felt like a waste of time. We were pushed toward more paid excursions and the restaurant was disgusting. Walking past the kitchen was enough to make you lose your appetite. The bathroom was hidden in the back and in horrible condition. The food was tasteless, and we didn't dare eat it. We were stuck there until sunset, and once back on the boat, the requests for more money continued--tips, fees, whatever they could get. We ended up spending over $6,000 pesos on this nightmare. They never took us back to Playa Los Muertos as promised, making us miss dinner reservations that we had already rescheduled twice. The worst part? The sea flea bites turned into painful, infected welts. It's been a week and they've only gotten worse--requiring medication and doctor visits with no real progress. This entire experience has cost me time, money, and a piece of my peace. Look--I get that you cannot control nature. But what is in their control is honesty, safety, and basic professionalism. Instead, they prioritized profit over people, offered unsanitary equipment, refused accountability, and ran a full-on tourist trap. Do not waste your time, money, or health on The Beach Boys tour. There may be more ethical operators out there, but this was nothing short of a scam with long-term consequences. read more

Star rating are for seeing the whales and dolphins. I booked the Isla Marieta tour with an outside agency at Marina Vallarta, not directly with Cruceros Beach Boy. The tour was supposed to be from 9am to 5pm. At Puerto Magico (Magic Port) you pay a port fee AND a conservation fee to protect the National Park. It is a 2hs boat ride from Puerto Magico to snorkel area. Breakfast was powdered eggs and chilaquiles. I saw a pan of pancakes but those were NOT offered to us (tourists). The water was very choppy today. We managed to snorkel for a while but didn't see any marine life/fish due to the water conditions. Once we returned to the boat, we weren't doing anything so I got up to ask what was happening next. I don't know why they didnt make a general announcement for all to be informed. The rest of the agenda WAS CANCELED due to the water conditions. We were not visiting the beach, no paddleboards, no kayak. Before we left Puerto Magico and during boat ride to snorkel, we were given the option to pay extra for Eco Tour (250 pesos) or the Hidden Beach (1K pesos). The 6 people who signed up for Hidden Beach left on a small boat, Eco Tour people were refunded and the rest of us, more than half of us were just stuck on the boat waiting for the 6 to return from the Hidden Beach. Had I known the rest was canceled, I would have coughed up the 1K to Hidden Beach. During this time, they wouldn't open lunch nor the bar. :/ We were just forced to wait. Once those 6 returned, we voted on opening the bar or heading to an area to see if it was possible to kayak or paddleboard. Essentially we headed back in the direction of Puerto Magico. We were given some time in the water literally around the boat, not a beach and folks did laps around the boat in the kayaks. The problem was there were not enough kayaks nor paddleboards for all. I'm going to say about 4 or 5 kayaks and 3 paddleboards were available. :( The highlight was seeing some dolphin and whales along the way. Lunch were ham or turkey sandwiches, tuna salad and a chicken salad. Drinks are watered down, not enough booze in them. We were back at the port just after 4pm. The staff KNEW we were disappointed. Was promised a day at the beach with snorkeling, what I got was a huge disappointment. If you are looking to spend 4 hours on a concrete barge in a plastic lawn chair, look no further! To start, we were upsold on the whole experience, a day at the beach, snorkeling, lunch, the works. When we arrived at the specific time, we were made to wait about an additional hour. Finally, we boarded the boat and to my shock, it was not some luxury cruise it was made out to me, but a concrete barge with a bunch of plastic lawn chairs on it. About a half hour into this, they say we can take pictures of Los arcos, we are probably about 1km away the whole time just driving right past. Another half hour passed, we are told we can't snorkel, too dangerous. They 100% knew this before but just decided not to tell us. After about 2 hours on this boat we arrive to the beach, wait an hour for food, finally eat, enjoy the beach for about 30 minutes more, and we are told to go back to the dock, we are leaving. Sit on the boat another 2 hours and arrive at a different dock than we started, forced to take a taxi back from there, how amazing. Didn't get back until 7:30 completely ruining any plans we had for the evening. The highlight is the staff is pretty good, but you learn at the end that 2 of the staff members are students, the company doesn't pay them, talk about exploitation, already charged an arm an a leg for the whole experience and they can't pay 2 kids a salary, disgusting. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! This tour is so god awful. I'm angry at our concierge for recommending it. (Armando from costa sur)!! He said to us we will be all day doing kayaking and snorkeling and going to marietas island.!!! A total lie! All of it! It's 6 hour boat ride in total, on the slowest boat on the planet. My son got so sea sick, continuously vomiting over the rail the entire ride. So did several others! You only get 30 mins to snorkel!? And they don't even dock on the island whatsoever!!?? My son went snorkeling to try to feel better and he only saw a few minnos! You can only kayak around the boat and cannot go to the island. We are trying to get off this boat so we don't have a grueling 3 hours on the way back. The crew is nice and trying to get us a boat to take us to the nearest port Bc 25 people ended up leaving this vessel. We had all been scammed. Everything was supposedly included like drinks and lunch but then it wasn't?? This is not a reliable tour. They pile you in like cattle. I should have read reviews instead of trusting my concierge. This is a complete ripoff. The sales agent took our deposit and we arrived 15 mins before the scheduled time which was told to us to be 9am pst. We were told by the agent that the boat will be back at 430pm When we checked in they informed us it will return possibly after 6pm. Since we have an appointment at 630pm it wasn't possible to go, so we had our main payment refunded. Our initial deposit wasn't refunded by the sales agent who tried to lecture us about the fact that we were supposed to be there at 815am and they they switched the board for us. We were not informed about the switched boats and the AveSanta kept lecturing about how we missed our boat which is literally not anything we were told at the terminal when we checked in. Buyer beware do not buy this trip as it was a complete waste of time and money. read more

$1100 MXN / person for about an 8 hour day. The boat leaves at 10 AM and drops off at 6 PM. First stop is Los Arcos for snorkeling. They only give you 30 minutes, which is fair considering how unimpressive the snorkeling is compared to other experiences I've had. Ie. This is far from Hanauma Bay. But some people, including me, would have liked more time. Another thing that bothered me about the snorkeling is that there are no lockers on the boat to secure your stuff while you're in the water. About half the passengers stayed behind so it could have been a free for all for my belongings. The second stop is a beach with no road access where those who want to catch rays and each lunch can stay. Everyone else goes on a hike to see a waterfall. The waterfall people then come back for lunch. This stop takes up about 3-4 hours. The designated lunch spot is absolutely disgusting. The conditions were so bad I opted to eat elsewhere even though the lunch in the gross spot was included in the $1100 MXN. At least beer and mixed drinks are included. The "breakfast" is nothing more than coffee, apples and some bread. Aside from being shorted at snorkeling and the filthy restaurant, the staff was very generous about pouring the booze, but then they asked for a tip at the end and actually went around collecting them, passenger by passenger. How tacky. Capacity is 180 people so I'm sure it can get pretty wild with the right crowd. Too bad I won't come back to find out. read more

Los Arcos / Las Ánimas Tour Continental breakfast on the boat: Dine at your own risk. I question the sanitation. The pineapple was served warm while the egg product was lukewarm. My husband was fine, but I became very sick. I thought maybe something just didn't agree with me, but when I went to the ladies room, several other women were vomiting along with me. One didn't make it and vomited into the sink and no one bothered cleaning it. Snorkeling: The equipment seemed properly sanitized--no concerns there. They lied about offering 45 minutes of snorkeling. We weren't even in the water for fifteen minutes before they called us back onto the boat. Snorkeling was a waste of time. There was nothing to see. Beach Boy didn't chum the waters and nothing was near or on the arch's aside from two ordinary fish. Guests complained. I was bored, so I headed toward the inside of the arch and was stopped by the Beach Boy tour guide and told that I couldn't swim there. I'm not sure why they bothered to show pictures of people swimming under the arch on their website if they weren't going to allow anyone to swim there. Shortly afterward, they ushered everyone back onto the boat. No exotic fish were sighted by anyone. Guests were very vocal about it being the worst snorkeling experience ever. I agree. There was another tour boat with snorkelers at the arch next to us. Their boat staff chummed the water and allowed their guests to snorkel longer than we did. There was a noticeable difference in quality of service and many voiced that they picked the wrong tour boat. Again, I agreed-we did not get the same quality tour and it was not as fun. Lunch served on Las Ánimas beach Beach Boy clients dined at a shanty next to a nicer restaurant that clients from the other tour boat dined. Luckily, the food served there was fresh and delicious. The bathroom was functional although inconveniently located, but the service was decent. The restaurant was nothing more than tables & chairs in very close quarters, but was shaded and overlooked the beautiful beach. . Las Ànimas Beach was gorgeous and we enjoyed it, but the beach front property for Beach Boy clients was non-existent. We paid extra to rent beach chairs just so we could take a break from the water and have a place to set our belongings. The lounge chairs almost touched the water because there was no beach. No one could choose to lay on a towel in the sand because the chairs took up all the room and were packed like sardines. The other tour boat's clients had an actual beach to enjoy, a nicer place to dine and they seemed like they had a much better time than we did. On the bright side, the water was perfect and beautiful. My recommendation: Find the name of the other tour boat and book that one instead. read more

Went to Murieta Islands, paid extra to go to the hidden beach and do the eco tour, it was so worth it, breakfast, lunch and open bar was included. The crew is so much fun, kept us entertained the whole time. I was most excited for the snorkeling but there was no fish at all and a life jacket was mandatory so you couldn't even go further down The 2.5 hour trip was only worth it when we visited the private beach. The bluest and clearest water I've ever seen! Honestly the long boat ride ruined our trip here in puerto Vallarta and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. P.s. They had no vegan options, and mind you this trip is a FULL DAY (9am-6pm) so if you are vegan and didn't have breakfast beforehand then you will starve!! They don't false advertise, they just mislead advertise. All they did was nickel and dime us to death. Beware: you will need an extra 1,000-1,500 pesos per person to take this trip. Otherwise you won't be doing anything! Cheap quality drinks. Drunk nascar fans! If you want to snorkel, you need to leave an ID and pay a $600 deposit. No deposit, no snorkeling. It's BEACH OR HIKING are your options, you can't do both. 5 pesos to use the restroom when hiking up to the waterfall. You MUST buy a drink at the beach AND the on the hike. Horses were $400 pesos each, a donkey of you are fat. No extra fee for fat people. If you want to hike, you will walk behind the horses in a trail full of shit. The trail is not wide enough to walk around the shit. Your feet will get wet as you walk through the streams they call Rivers. Lunch was okay. Had to eat upon getting back to the mainland before going to dinner. Maybe other cruise companies would be a better but the island and the hiking would be the same. Our biggest complaint is that they didn't say you need to being so much cash. AND there was no way to access cash. There are no ATM's at the port, on the boat, or in the island. AND they didn't take credit cards. The whole experience would have been better if they just charged upfront and let us enjoy the experience. Or provide alternative payment methods. Me and my family went on the snorkel and beach tour and as they were helping my 69 year old dad off the boat they yanked him onto the ground. He fell face first and injured just nose and knee. The crew brushed it off as they were drinking the whole tour and blamed my dad for falling. I do not recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a good vacation. "Vallarta by Boat" contracts through this company as well, so be careful with that. The boat broke down on the way back; they didn't offer any sort of compensation for the extra hour and a half that it took to creep back on top of the 45 minute trip. We were supposed to be in the port by 4:00pm at the latest (they said earlier) and we didn't arrive until 6:15pm. We missed our reservations as a result, which sucked since we paid partially for that. Worse yet, the captain lied and tried to take advantage of a DST time change in Mexico that day, so he tried to say it was really 5:15pm, then later took it back when we were only a few minutes away from port (which in hindsight is stupid since at least people could have called to fix their reservations as we were inching to port at a groundspeed of, no joke, 9 mph). I noticed way back that there was an issue and when I asked him really nicely if something was wrong with the boat, he said no we're going full speed, then they made the announcement that there was mechanical issues. As for a good day without all that crap; the snorkeling was mediocre at best. The food at Cruseros was way better than Vallarta by Boat, but it didn't make up for anything and still felt like a waste of a meal since PV has so much good food. I'll say this on my Vallarta by Boat review too; you already paid to fly all the way to PV, just budget for Vallarta Adventures, these guys suck and they were not willing to own up to their BS. read more

If your hotel is on the beach, no need to take this excursion. Very slow boat to take you (hold you captive) to another beach with the same activities you can already do without taking the boat. Snorkeling.. about half of the people took the 20 minute activity. They ran out of snorkels so I wasn't able to go in. Probably better because everyone got stung from the jellyfish and said they didn't see many fish. When you get to the beach, we got off waiting for our hike. Ahh. should have stayed on the boat because the hike is not at the beach, its the next stop. Would have been better if we spoke Spanish because they probably said that. But we don't speak fluent Spanish, so we got off the boat. Once on the beach, you need cash. And a lot of it if you plan to do anything except sit on the beach. We had to "rent" four lounge chairs $200 pso. Then you order food (you had to order food otherwise you would go hungry) and drinks (more cost). They finally bring the original included meal about 15 minutes before we had to leave. (Pretty much didn't eat it because it wasn't good)... Restaurant was disgusting. Now it's time to pay the bill. Should have been around $40 USD based on our math from the prices on the menu. Nope $60 USD. Get back on the boat and thought we would enjoy some of the free drinks. Tried a margarita. Took two sips and dumped it overboard. Yuck! So for $54USD PP X4 and another $60USD later, we get back to the dock in PV to do nothing but sit on a beach and be served food that is not very good. The staff was nice and enthusiastic but after 8 hours of a slow boat, sitting on a captive beach, horrible food and awful drinks, we were not in the mood to party. read more

So overall I had a good beach boy experience. Heads up they say continental breakfast but it's just a pasty and an apple. Then you don't eat "lunch" until 3/4. So I would for sure eat before. The cruise over to the snorkeling was nice. The boat it's self is nothing special. Once you get to the snorkel the place is cool but you just are in the water and see a handle full of fish, no coral or anything cool like that. It's still fun but if your really looking. For a cool snorkel experience I wouldn't choose this. After that you either get dropped at a beach where you pay for extra activities there or you get dropped at the waterfall activity. This is what we did and I would 10/10 recommend you do that. Either you hike or ride horse back to a waterfall up in the mountain. It was amazing Ana such a fun experience. read more

Our family of six went on the Ocean Pacific snorkeling, on 29/08/22, it was the worst f******g tour we have ever been on!!!!. First you rode on the slowest catamaran in the world, (designed to lengthen the tour), driven my a Captain who cared more about texting and talking on the phone then steering the boat, they don't tell you they only supply goggles and masks and NO flippers. We finally arrive at the Arches after about 2hrs and see that the boat is anchored twice as far out as any other boat so now you have to swim to the rocks, only to find very murky water, impossible to see anything, especially when they would not let us try and explore the caves, or spread out. nope stay in a tight group and tread water for an amazing 7 mins. then hustled back to the boat and off we go for another hour, to a remote beach area, on route they went out of there way to convince everyone not to do the waterfall hike, but to go ashore and "enjoy" the beach and restaurant, There we found out beach is steep and rough and no snorkeling, the lunch wouldn't be for another two hrs and if we wanted to get out of the sun we had to rent the umbrellas and purchase food and water. We then realized the boat didn't leave, but was docked in the bay and crew members were serving us,,,,then it dawned on us as to why the push to not do the hike, so that we would be forced to spend money at there lousy & expensive restaurant. So finally back to the slow boat with the most distracted captain and rode in plastic chairs with the occasional watered down drink, served by staff who made no attempt to explain things in English. OH, and how long can you hold your breath while going to the bathroom, because you have to in theirs. Do not use Beach Boy unless you like someone shouting loudly on a microphone for hours & lots of drunks. AVOID it's a waste of time & money. The one experience we wanted in Puerta Vallarta was the hike to the waterfall. We selected the cruise to Los Arcos to snorkel, Los Animas for beach time & most important Quimixto waterfall hike. The snorkel time went from 30 min to 15 since there were so many people to load & unload. The water was very cold & visibilty about 3 to 4' and only saw a couple fish. Right before beaching at Los Animas we were told the pier at Quimixto broke & we won't be going there. Big disappointment. Breakfast not good, lunch ok had to buy beverage. They asked for $20usd tip, money for an orphanage & at least 10+ ppl wanting you to buy stuff. A bag of chips on boat overpriced cost 50 peso. After an hour after departure we just wanted to return to port. The guy explained & demonstrated how to use the bathroom - not kidding - for 18 minutes. The crew & him thinking they were funny. Took the knowing los arcos and las animas boat cruise and had the worst experience. We we herded like cattle at los arcos with absolutely no opportunity to really snorkel just off the boat one pass through an arch and rush back to the boat. The trip was more an opportunity to upsel other activities at the beach and get more money out of you. The restaurant where lunch was provided had horrible seating with broken chairs. The only positive was the boat staff they where kind and attentive. We ended up leaving the boat and taking a water taxi back. read more

We did the Arcos Animas Quimixto Cruise and had a great time. The snorkeling was a fun taste, not very long but the full 30 minutes that was advertised. We also did the horse back ride to the waterfall in Quimixto, extra 250 pesos each for the horses, totally worth it. The waterfall is beautiful and the restaurant there was fun and casual with great guacamole. The included lunch in Animas was also delicious with very fresh fish. If you want extra/more drinks in during the ride back sit downstairs for better access to the bar. read more

This was our first time in Puerto Vallarta and we were fortunate enough to have heard about this. It is highly recommended. The crew (Leo and everyone else) were so nice, warm, welcoming, and made sure everyone had fun. AND that we did! We have not even left port and the crew started serving coffee, orange juice, pastries (Yummy!), and fruit. Alcohol and beer flowed freely the whole time. Music played the whole time and on the return, they had games for the young and the not-so-young. I thought I would just sleep through it, but the way the crew did the games woke me up. It was so much fun! My husband and my brother snorkeled while my sister-in-law and I stayed on the boat to film and take pictures. My husband did not last long as the undercurrent was strong and was pushed against the wall of the little 'island/cave' where we were. However, one of the crew was right there and helped my husband back on the boat. He had some scrapes and bruises but was fine. He and my brother mentioned that there were little creatures that they can't actually see that bit them -- tiny nips that were sort of more bothersome than painful. Once we got to the side of the island where we picnicked, the crew made sure we got off the boat safely. I was even carried to shore! [There was no pier for the boat to dock so there were smaller boats that picked us up from the boat to take us to shore and back to the boat.] They had tables (free) and chaise lounges (with a minimal fee) -- thankfully both with umbrellas -- by the shore. We ate with water touching our feet! My sister-in-law and I had fish and my brother and my husband had beef --- both so delicious and so fresh. Leo and his staff served all the food (I thought it would be restaurant staff!), carrying trays that looked like those were heavier than them. My husband and I had massages by the beach for 800 Mexican Pesos. It was so relaxing we both fell asleep! (There was supposed to be a hike to a waterfall but we did not do that as we did not think we would last because of the heat!) I highly recommend this if you are ever in the area. A tip though is do not purchase tickets from your hotel if possible. We paid a lot less purchasing our tickets off-resort. read more

I (30s) went with my mom (60s) in August 2018 and we both had the most fun either of us has had in a long time. I did the full 30 min snorkel while mom stayed on the boat. You are asked to sign a waiver, leave ID (for gear check) and wear a life vest. Yes, not a lot of alcohol in the cocktails but there were several options and 2 types of beer. The service was FANTASTIC! The crew is young, energetic, fun, and works very hard to ensure you have a good time. They paid extra attention to my mom, helped her on and off the boat, even carried her off the boat when we got to shore for lunch. Someone was always around coming to pass out food or drinks, or collect trash. Drinks are not included with the lunch We did the hike to Quimixto--she rode the horse (250pesos extra) with her own escort because she was nervous. It's about 40 min up sandy/uneven ground to the waterfall and you're asked to buy one drink per person (25 pesos for water or juice, or you can get a snack. If you do the hike you dont eat lunch until after (about 4pm), which they warned us about in advance. I did not at all feel like they nickel and dimed us on anything, or feel their were lots of hidden costs (one review mentioned you need an extra 1000 pesos pp but everything is optional and clear up front). The best part was when it started thunderstorming, the DJ turned up the music, and the crew started dancing. Even the grandparents were letting loose. If you're a stick in the mud this is not the tour for you. But if you want to dance, have a good time, and see more of Mexico on a budget this is the tour for you. read more

Don't use this boat tour company! We've been on several other day trips in PV and this was the worst by far. We took their Marietas Islands tour. The crew was nice and helpful but everything was so disorganized and the boat was jam packed with passengers. We left late, there were HOURS of waiting around on the boat for activities to begin, and things got so far behind due to the disorganization that we got back to PV almost 2 hours late - it was almost dark by time we returned and the boat had no lights!? The food was not good at all. Lunch was served very late - at 3:30pm!? And it was horrible - cheap chunk light canned tuna, canned chicken meat, piece of lettuce for a salad. Once they opened the bar they generously served drinks, but of course very cheap beer & liquor. Not surprisingly, we've both been sick all night after this food. One other complaint was the lack of and poor quality of English translation from the crew & guides. This is a company that makes their money from tourists and many tourists are English speaking. Most other tours we have gone on in PV have had great English speaking guides. Not this one. So again, don't use this tour company! read more

We took a day tour to Yelapa while on vacation to Puerto VAllarta. This tour was so much fun, the crew was super awesome!!! They provided a light breakfast in the boat ride to the beach. while in at the beach they take you to a waterfall and serve lunch. When you board to return to puerto Vallarta there is an open bar. All of this was at a great price. Totally worth it. read more

Warning! Beach boys cruise is a rip off , we made a reservation for this cruise because we wanted to go snorkeling at the arches island to see beautiful tropical fish and coral like the pictures show on their advertisement. We take the boat packed full of people and arrive there. We jumped in an started swimming looking for fish and coral. We did not see any tropical fish only tiny minnows and a rock. The water was very cloudy and full of fish guts because the fishermen was dumping and cleaning their fish right next to our tour. We was supposed to be there for 40 minutes before going to the island but was only there for about 15 minutes and left. We all get back on the boat after not see any tropical fish ( they probably get scared off because there must have been over a hundred people swimming around. Worst snorkeling experience ever. Also when we was in line to get on the boat you have to pay a fee to go through the military inspection and they have drug sniffing dogs there. Beach boys never informed us about this so we had to go back an buy a ticket to get through the inspection. On the boat it's not very family friendly as the main person entertaining was cursing and dancing very dirty. The drinks are fake alcohol and very watered down, breakfast is a small portion and dinner was ok. On the island they try to nickel a And dime you on everything. , vendors are aggressively trying to make you buy. The island is a big tourist trap. I highly recommend Vallarta Adventures and stick with them they are the safest! read more

Great crew, very good grilled chicken lunch with an excellent chili sauce. It's a cat boat that takes large crowds to various destinations. I would have liked more time at each activity (snorkeling at Las Marietas, hanging on the beach), but I don't fault them for that. Every crew member was excellent and very attentive to service. Yes, boat ran about 11 km/h so can't be in a hurry, but just enjoy the beautiful views and time on the water. 4 stars for the overall experience but 5 stars for the crew. read more

AVOID THIS TOUR!!! I do not recommend this tour at all! We were taken to a remote beach that was very nice and a lot of activities to do with great food and drinks on the beach however the tour guides told us we would be picked up at 4:00 pm latest 4:30 pm to take us back and the location where they would be picking us up to take us to the boat since it does not doc on the beach and we never saw them come. My wife and I were at the pier where they told us we would meet by 3:40 pm to be safe we waited and waited it was 4:10 pm and we decided to go ask someone by the pier where they were having others meet up to take them to their boat and asked if beach boys cruise was on the way and they told us that they had already left a while ago never once did they come to look for us at all they left us stranded there with limited cash because we only took enough to be able to enjoy the beach so beach boys tours left us at the remote beach with no other way to get back to our hotel. This is horrible service HORRIBLE we came on vacation with our 7 month old baby we left behind with family and we were at the point of wondering how we would get back to our baby! Honesty I've never experienced something like this the guide told us the time and where to meet and all of it was a lie they left us! We had to find arrangements with someone at the remote beach to bring us back and cost us an additional $120 that we did not have on hand so thankfully the individual who did bring us was sooo nice and trusting he gave us the opportunity get the cash after he brought us back thank god for him! If it wasn't for him being so nice and trusting I don't know how we would have came back to our baby! Again avoid taking beach boys tour they lie about the time they pick you up to bring you back and leave you with no hesitation. They made us have to spend more $$ and their tour was nothing special to begin with. Honestly I would like to ask for my money back for the incontinence and for leaving us stranded! read more

Had a wonderful day aboard the Bora Bora with Leo and the rest of the crew! Took us to an amazing snorkel spot - it was like swimming in an aquarium. So many gorgeous fish and a very natural experience. Back on the boat we were served a fresh, homemade lunch of grilled chicken, beef, warm tortillas, quesadillas which was so delicious. Don't expect strong drinks - we stuck with the cold beer our time in Yelapa was spent on the beach and in the water, although hiking and horseback riding were offered. If you walk down the beach away from the restaurants, it is peaceful and nice area for swimming. The photographer did a nice job capturing all the families and special moments without being intrusive. On our way back to Puerto Vallarta we were escorted by a school of dolphin, racing and jumping around the boat! We also saw big sea turtles and a manta ray. It was a full day experience and we all wanted to go again the next day - but we will wait til next time. Save us a seat, Leo!! read more

The Beach Boys took us on a very large sailboat to the small village of Yelapa, that is only accessable by boat. No cars there! It was a great trip. They fed us breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and juice. We got to see whales, we got out to snorkal and kayak. We then went to Yelapa and hiked to a water fall, saw the village, some rode horses and then we hung out on the beach for a while. Then we had a beautiful boat ride back to Puerto Vallarta, where they fed us barbecue vegies and other yummy morsels. It was a fantastic day! I highly recomend the Beach Boys Adventures!! read more
