We rented a 3 hour tiki sandbar cruise in Siesta Key for our friend's bachelorette party this past weekend and Captain Bill gave us the best experience! We rode around to sandbars and private islands and had the best time. It was the highlight of the weekend of festivities. We were able to play our own music on Bluetooth speakers and we put our drinks in the coolers. We each got a Cruisin Tikis koozie as well. I highly recommend this cruise for any small group and it's great for bachelorette parties. We went 11:30-2:30pm which thankfully was just before thunderstorms.

WOW!!! What a fun sunset cruise! Great captain and you can tell he loves his job and business! Walking around the tiki boat and having it covered makes for a great party and venture on the water. We lucked out on the weather as we had a storm go through shortly before sailing out. Beautiful sunset!!! I highly recommend this adventure with some fun friends!

My wife scheduled the 90 minute trip for my parents and I. Captain K was fantastic as he toured us around Sarasota Bay. He keeps the conversation going and is very knowledgeable of all things Sarasota. The boat was fantastic and very comfortable. Cruisin' Tikis Sarasota is awesome! We bought this as a present activity for my parents and they absolutely loved it! From start to finish, every person I was in contact with was beyond accommodating and nice - they were so understanding to the weather and rescheduled us at no cost and without a doubt! We had Andrew as our captain and he was great! They have a cooler, ice, water, cups, blender, and koozies and you bring the rest on board! Would be a great night out activity for groups or more relaxed for families. Couldn't recommend them more! Thank you all again for being so great to work with!

We took a sunset cruise on the Siesta Key Tikkis with a group of 4. Our captain Dave was really great. He was personable and made it fun for us, but at the same time was a trusted, experienced captain. The boat was well maintained, and he knew exactly how to position us for maximum sunset viewing. Next time we are in town we are going to take the daytime sandbar cruise and swim. I would recommend this outing for any type of group. read more

Our party of 6 had a blast on our 4 hr tiki cruise. We parked on a sandbar for almost 3 hours enjoying the warm shallow water and the music and noodles from the boat! We saw dolphins and sea urchins . Captain Scott was super friendly and full of info on the marine life in the area. A large cooler, plastic cups, and a 10 lb bag of ice was provided for our use. I recommend you bring some more ice to keep your drinks flowing! I also recommend some sort of foot covering to wear in the water, so you don't step on a hidden sea urchin! And maybe bring an insulated plastic cup with a lid so you can enjoy your drink in the water! You will DEFINITELY have a fun time! read more

We wanted to do something special for my inlaws who live in Longboat Key. So we found Cruisin' Tikis Sarasota. It was so easy to sign up and book the rental. We got a private trip for just the 4 of us plus our captain (Captain K) who was so personalble and took us for a lovely ride. We listened to our music on his blue tooth. Took the 3 hour tour yesterday April 27th! The new owners have updated the boat some to make it feel even more tropical! Friends from NJ were visiting and this was a great way to spend time with them!! Marcia made booking for six so easy and effortless. Captain Bill....he was a GREAT tour guide. We went swimming, saw dolphins and even a couple manatees. My friends and I loved every minute of the day with Cruisin Tikis!!! And we all can't wait to to it AGAIN!! read more

Who knew there was a floating Tiki sunset cruise?! There is, and it's just as fun as it sounds! Its BYOB and they take care of the rest. We liked the smaller group size so we never felt like just one of 100. The Captain's are the to make sure you have a fun and safe experience. We had a great day today! We had two kids (12 and 14) and grandparents with us. They were very accommodating to all of our needs. Having never traveled by Tiki boat, we were excited for our Sarasota adventure. Captain Scott was professional and personable and our group sincerely enjoyed our 90-minute tour, complete with a manatee sighting and some dolphins. This is a great outing for families with multiple generations and a lovely way to see the city from a different vantage point. read more

So! Much! Fun! Christian booked us a last minute sandbar cruise and Andrew captained our tiki. From the booking to the cruise the entire process was smooth and absolutely enjoyable. We brought ourselves, sunscreen and drinks and they did the rest. They supplied the cooler, the ice and played their own music and allowed us to play our own. Andrew was super awesome and an absolute pleasure. He was the perfect blend of captain, cruise director and unfortunately for him a bit of a parent due to our shenanigans . Cost to fun ratio is well worth it!!! Be ready for everyone you pass or meet to want to join you on your cruise! Thanks a bunch for a great time and we have added this to our "to do" list anytime we have visitors! read more

The harbor area was easy to locate based on the directions given, and a parking pass is provided (as the lot posts a free 3-hour limit). We set sail a little after 1pm. It was a little windy starting out, but Captain Charlie maneuvered the catamaran expertly. He also provided local commentary on the area and made us laugh with his jokes and statements. Sandwiches were provided at the halfway point, and we were allowed to bring drinks and snacks on the catamaran. There were 12 of us in our group and we easily moved around the boat and had plenty of room to stretch out. Captain Charlie even directed us to a small cove area where dolphins played along the seawalls. We got to see a mother, father and baby dolphin frolic in the water as well as one dolphin (probably the dad) swim along and under the catamaran. We all enjoyed that experience! If you are "debating" on booking this stop hesitating and book NOW!!! Marcia was great helping us figure out all the services offered and what would work best for us. We did the 2 hour tiki sandbar cruise and it was amazing! Captain Bill was super accommodating and full of knowledge about the sea life and surrounding area. We saw lots of dolphins, birds and fish. At the sandbar we were easily the coolest rig out there and people were inquiring about our tiki boat. We found clams, sea urchin, hermit crabs and Captain Bill taught us how to find sand dollars! This was by far the best experience ever and we WILL be coming back! read more

I cannot even put into words how amazing this was!! Our captain was punctua, friendly, and showed us an amazing time!! We seen so much in 4 hours including 2 different sets of dolphin!! I would highly recommend taking a cruise on this tiki and stopping for a swim on the sandbar!! read more

The highlight of my recent trip to Sarasota was the boat tour with Captain Kathe. She deserves such…read morehigh praise. Don't bother with a larger cruise! Captain Kathe is sweet, kind and will take to see whatever it is you want to see. We saw SO MANY dolphins and so close up to our boat! Truly an experience I will never forget. We also stopped at a sandbar and saw sand dollars, sea anemones and conchs galore. She charged $30 per passenger for two hours on her boat. Her boat can fit 6, if your party is less than that, she'll pair you with another group. If you call her, you'll see how flexible she is (she was fielding calls while we were out on the boat) - she can do sunset tours, picnic tours (she lets you bring whatever you want on her boat). You can see her love of the ocean, of her home town and of all animals and people. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the sea life and about what's safe for them and legal. Y'know how sometimes you go to a zoo and you feel a little queasy for all those locked up animals? With Captain Kathe, I felt assured that she wouldn't do a thing to harm the sealife, just for the sake of tourism. Captain Kathe has two cocker-spaniels that she generally has on the boat with her, but they are well-behaved and won't bother you if you aren't a dog-person. I'm fine with dogs, but my friend who went along isn't a fan and she couldn't help but note how well-behaved the dog were. If you want to add a little adventure to your beach vacation, call Captain Kathe!

We had a…read morespecial needs boy in our group and she made really sincere accommodations for him (avoiding noisy areas). Sailor sniffed out the dolphins and alerted us when he saw them. The dolphins played in our speed waves, it was unbelievable. Kathe is local, lived here her whole life, daughter and wife of a fisherman...so she cares about the area, shows things like bird sanctuaries and is very careful with the gulf life. She has history of the area and a lot of knowledge to share. She has a funny personality and her snd Sailor make a perfect team. Thanks for the memories, Kathe!
