We rented a 3 hour tiki sandbar cruise in Siesta Key for our friend's bachelorette party this past weekend and Captain Bill gave us the best experience! We rode around to sandbars and private islands and had the best time. It was the highlight of the weekend of festivities. We were able to play our own music on Bluetooth speakers and we put our drinks in the coolers. We each got a Cruisin Tikis koozie as well. I highly recommend this cruise for any small group and it's great for bachelorette parties. We went 11:30-2:30pm which thankfully was just before thunderstorms.

WOW!!! What a fun sunset cruise! Great captain and you can tell he loves his job and business! Walking around the tiki boat and having it covered makes for a great party and venture on the water. We lucked out on the weather as we had a storm go through shortly before sailing out. Beautiful sunset!!! I highly recommend this adventure with some fun friends!

My wife scheduled the 90 minute trip for my parents and I. Captain K was fantastic as he toured us around Sarasota Bay. He keeps the conversation going and is very knowledgeable of all things Sarasota. The boat was fantastic and very comfortable. I highly recommend booking this for small groups if you are looking for a fun time on the water

Cruisin' Tikis Sarasota is awesome! We bought this as a present activity for my parents and they absolutely loved it! From start to finish, every person I was in contact with was beyond accommodating and nice - they were so understanding to the weather and rescheduled us at no cost and without a doubt! We had Andrew as our captain and he was great! They have a cooler, ice, water, cups, blender, and koozies and you bring the rest on board! Would be a great night out activity for groups or more relaxed for families. Couldn't recommend them more! Thank you all again for being so great to work with!

You just need to point your own car toward Sarasota... to Tamiami Trail, just south of University. Step inside the Bahi Hut and you're back in 1955... plus one. This local landmark dates back to 1954 and bills itself as Florida's oldest tiki bar. I'm all in for it! Outside, it's a small, cement block building with retro font lettering, right next to a vintage motel. (Perfect, if you'd had too many mai tais!) Inside, it's tiki perfection... with dim lighting, Polynesian decor and that swanky feel you can only get from mid-century modern. In my head, an instant mashup of "Bali Hai" and xylophony lounge music. When I opened the door, everyone blinked-adjusting to the sudden light-and instant realization: it's actually 2025. Well-outside, anyway. Right away, I was greeted warmly by the bartender. It was about 2pm on a Friday and fairly empty, but I know this joint is jumpin' later on. The bartender recommended the mai tai... allegedly Trader Vic's original recipe from 1944. Oh, it was good... and strong. I appreciated the presentation, history and the taste. But I opted for something different for my second drink (the laminated drink menu was a joy to behold). I went with the gorgeous blue "desert flower," which is tequila based. Ooo, that was good, too... and so pretty. Two will definitely do ya, here. I had already eaten, so didn't try any of the food offerings. But I did sip slowly and chat with the other time travelers and tropic seekers who wandered in. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. Besides bar seating, there are tables in two different areas and a great merch collection that I need to go back and study. There's also a giant thatched tiki roof (not as vintage) and patio. They need the space, since there's karaoke on Thursdays, live music on Fridays and Saturdays and drag queen bingo on Sundays. There's also a happy hour, Monday thru Thursday, from 1-6, I believe. And later this year, the Tiki Fever Convention will be held at the Bahi Hut and next door at the Golden Host motel. (November 2025) I'm not sure I can make that, but I will definitely be back. There's plenty of parking-and that big menu to work through. Cue the xylophones... and I'll see you there!

Fresh flowers bloom in every corner, their sweet fragrance mingling with the comforting aroma of steeping tea and freshly baked cakes. The menu is a delightful symphony of flavors, with each dish crafted as if by fairy hands. The tea sandwiches are dainty yet satisfying, their ingredients so fresh they seem to have been gathered from a mystical garden just moments before. The salads are vibrant and bursting with life, each leaf and garnish adding to the overall tapestry of flavors. And, of course, the cakes! The cakes are tiny works of art, each bite a burst of sweetness that leaves you floating on clouds of pure bliss. To say that the owner of this enchanting establishment is just as magical as the place she's created would be an understatement. Kathryn is the heart and soul of this fairy-tale haven, a living embodiment of the kindness and beauty that fills every corner of her restaurant. Her presence is like a gentle breeze, warm and soothing, making everyone who walks through the door feel instantly at home. Her generosity is evident not just in the thoughtful touches that make each visit special--like the fresh flowers that greet you at every table or the extra care taken to ensure each dish is perfect--but in the way she treats each guest like an old friend. There's a sweetness in her smile that makes you feel as though you've known her for years, and a gentle warmth in her words that wraps around you like a comforting blanket. She moves with a quiet grace, always attentive, yet never intrusive. Whether she's offering a kind word, making sure your tea is just right, or sharing a delightful story, she does so with a lightness that leaves you feeling cherished and cared for. It's clear that this restaurant is more than just a business to her--it's a labor of love, a place where she pours her heart into every detail. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, the owner's presence is a reminder of the beauty of kindness and the power of a generous spirit. She has created not just a restaurant, but a sanctuary--a place where time slows down, and you can savor not just the food, but the warmth of human connection. To dine here is to be touched by her sweetness, and to leave with your heart a little fuller, your day a little brighter. Thank you, Kathryn, for creating such a beautiful safe haven for all who enter. As long as this establishment is standing, I will be there in attendance.
