First time In. Atmosphere was chill . I had no idea how to explain how I wanted my hair and beard cut . I told Randy just the basic a 2 on top one on the side . He took it to the next level ! Definitely found my new barber !! read more

Best barber shop! Good vibes, great cuts. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed! Thanks for everything!

I've been coming to Crowns for about 9 months. Service is always great. Everyone is professional and they greet you when you walk in. The barbershop is very clean. If there's music I love the music, sometimes it's sports playing in the background which is good too. You can tell the owner takes pride in his business. The barbers as well. I would call ahead to make sure they can cut you. It's a popular spot and they get booked up pretty quick. read more

It is a nice and clean barbershop. I was able to get an appointment for a haircut on the same day with Blake. When I went in they had a nice vibe in the place with a great waiting area. I didn't wait too long and was helped when Blake was available for the appointment. Blake was really nice and helpful when I spoke to him about what I wanted for my cut. It was a peaceful haircut and I actually fell asleep during it. I feel really bad but I didn't bring it up when I eventually did wake up. lol. But yeah, I got my haircut and it turned out great. I would come out again to this place for a haircut because the barbers seemed really nice and the general aura of the business is great. read more

Brought my 86 year old Dad to this awesome Barbershop yesterday. I wasn't sure how the atmosphere would be for an 86 old school guy. These guys where very professional and they made my Dad feel welcomed. Armani was so kind and gentle with him and his haircut and cleaning up his face was excellent. My Dad got in the car and looked in the mirror and said "oh wow look at my mustache I like that"! read more

I was visiting town for work and stopped in to get a haircut at 2pm on Friday May 5... To my surprise the shop was empty only one person in the chair getting a cut, but unfortunately I was turned away and was told they don't accept walk-ins even though the sign on the door says they do! Never come here read more

Jenelle takes the time to understand customer needs. Her work is intricate and a true representation of her work ethic, simply awesome.

When you walk into crowns your always greeted with a pleasant hello from the staff. The staff seems to work as a cohesive unit. Randy has been cutting my sons hair for a few months and Weekly he impresses me with his work! The environment at Crowns is unlike the stereotypical barber shop, It's a relaxed comfortable vibe. The entire staff at Crowns is talented. As a woman i didn't think I'd feel comfortable sitting in a shop waiting for my son, but Randy's professionalism set my mind at ease. I highly recommend you visiting. read more

I had the same barber for 30 years in San Francisco but she went to Vegas and never returned. After seven years, I decided to return to a barber and based on the Yelp's reviews, I chose Crowns. The shop was perfect. Ve4ry spacious and friendly. I saw Jenelle and she did a great job of cutting my hair. She is very personable and now I've found my barber for the next 30 years. Thank you, Jenelle!!! read more

My son won't let anyone but Ameet cut his hair. Can't speak on the other barbers here but Ameet always takes care of my son... haircuts are always clean, dope and selfie-worthy (based on the number of selfies taken before and after his haircut). Only complaint... the wait can be long sometimes, which can mean that they are in high demand. read more

the barber took almost 2 hours for 2 little boys haircuts. I asked for a star design, he said he doesn't do designs, I would have to wait over 2 hrs for another barber. I showed him a picture of the haircut my son wanted, the haircut he received was nothing like the pic, when I brought it to the barbers attention, he said he didn't have time to fix it. He didn't clean the hair off their faces after I had to ask him. My son walked out with uneven lines and a crocked terrible haircut and covered in hair. No customer service skills from any of the staff. read more

We've been coming here for 4 years and they do give good cuts, but the wait time is unbelievably long even with and appt!!!! Not like once in a while there's a wait, but EVERY SINGLE TIME! I mean as long as a hour with an appt??!! They def need to work on scheduling and stop either over booking or cutting like turtles! My Son's do like the cuts though. read more

Came in for a fade and a line up. TJ hooked it up with exactly what I wanted! While I was waiting I was blessed enough to watch him craft other works of art on other kids and adults, - he does designs too. Ask for him or find his work on Instagram. read more

I use to drive all the way from Brentwood for Kev, hands down he's the best barber to ever cut my son hair. I've never felt that my son haircut was rushed and I'm always satisfied with the outcome. I honestly love ALL the talent in the shop; keep up the excellent work!!! read more

I visited Crowns for the first time today. I have lived in the area for the past three years and hadn't been able to find a good place to get my sons hair cut. We have been to tons of other places but this one was by far the best. It really felt like cutting hair was their art not just their job. My husband and I were both so pleased and of corse my son is excited to show off his new cut. Everyone there was very friendly and polite. It was an awsome experience. I was also surprised at how affordable it was. So so happy! We will never go anywhere else! read more

Crowns Barber Shop - Fresh to def. Thanks Randy! - Barbers Near Me - Fairfield, California

Nice and clean barbershop with good parking. I walked in and in about 2 minutes after looking for someone to help (all barbers were busy) I was professionally greeted and offered the next available slot. The shop is very modern with plenty of seating. Customer base was from urban or blue collar to the office professional, as well as many different ethnic groups. I was helped by Jenelle who was very confident, relaxed, pleasant and skilled. She gave me a great 1st time cut in about 30 minutes (taper that was well blended and lined). This was a positive business transaction. read more

Best barber shop in Fairfield. Very professional look inside. Very clean. All the barbers that cut here a really good barbers. I get my hair cut by Randy who is a GREAT barber. Crowns Barber Shop - SwaggyP taper fade with the part. - Barbers Near Me - Fairfield, California

If yelp allowed 0 star, i would give that. Came here at 10am and i got out at 1pm. Ridicules wait time and unfortunately This was first time i came to this store and i didn't review the yelp before i went. I called in a day before to make appointment for Saturday and they said, they dont take appointments for Saturday and Saturdays are just walk in. When i got to the shop, i saw 4 people in front of me, so I sat there hoping it would take around an hour. But as time pass by, new people started to come and they started to cut theirs before me. Found out, guys at the shop knew these new comers so which is why they gave hair cut to them first. This is so unprofessional. Also, guys at this shop are super slow. They are slow because they talk to much while working. One person hair cut takes around 45 to 55 minutes. read more

This place has a wait time that is ridiculous! Quality over quantity is a thing of importance, but there seriously lacks a sense of urgency on the part of the barbers. They appear to all do a great job, but plan to spend at least a couple of hours, yes I said hours, just to get a cut. Alternatives to this place is a serious consideration..... read more

The first time I walked into Crowns, I was immediately greeted by Randy. I made an appointment (yes an APPOINTMENT!!!) and came back a few days later. I was very pleased with his work. My boys love their haircuts. The environment is comfortable, especially for a mother bringing her boy's in by herself. We've been coming for a few month's now, and we are always pleased with his work. I've never seen anyone walk out of Crowns with a bad cut. read more

These guys do a great job, but EVEN with an appointment TWICE in a row, we weren't seen until 30-45 minutes after our appointment time and the haircut (which was Excellent!) took over an hour. My time is valuable and we are VERY busy. Not sure we can keep coming back because we don't have that kind of TIME. read more

5 min late and cancel my appointment.... facial and hair when you can just do hair, to take a walk in for just hair, when I'm a regular driving from Vacaville, judge this for yourself to bad I lose my barber for being 5 min late read more

I heard about this shop by word of mouth and upon coming in I was greeted by very friendly staff and I was taken back by the ambience which was more of a spa than a traditional barber shop. I appreciated how clean the shop was and how engaging the staff was to their clients. It's always so hard trying to find a shop that can give you the exact haircut that you request and the barber that cut me did exactly wanted and I honestly couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend this barbershop for their friendly atmosphere and how accommodating they're to their clients. read more

I was referred to Jackie by my aunt just 3 day before my mom's wedding, she was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule at the last minute, which I was extremely grateful for. I was a little nervous since this was my first time seeing her, however I trust my aunts opinion since she is a well known event planner in Las Vegas. The shop was very clean and all the barbers and stylist carried their self in a professional manner. I could tell right away that Jackie was very passionate about hair and make- up, I told her my concerns regarding my natural hair issues and she was able to suggest some different ways that I could wear my full sew-in weave the way I like. She was very attentive to my needs while I was in her chair and was very informative on different hair products as well as make-up techniques. I left there loving my new look!! She was also able to do my mom's hair (the bride) for her big day, as well as make up for my mom, myself and the rest of the bridal party, we all looked amazing and got so many compliments on our hair and make-up. overall I can say, from just spending the short amount of time at Crowns and observing the barbers and stylist at work, they were all very passionate and focused on what they were doing, I saw a lot of unique hair cuts, this place is definitely on another level when it comes to style. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for custom unique styling by passionate stylist and barbers. read more

Great local barber shop. Clean, upbeat, friendly. I've been going tor a while and will keep going back.

I woke up extra early at 8am to get a cut before my work shift starts at 1:30. At 12:30 I finally thought my time has come, then the barber is gonna hit me with, "you got 3 more people ahead of you" ??? I've been here since 8 and this is how I get treated? Never again, I'll give it zero stars if I had the option read more

I tried to give this place a chance, because I liked what I saw on their instagram. How that feeling was short lived. I tried to make a appointment over the phone. I called a about 9:30am, then I was asked to call back twice. What?! So the last time I was told to just walk in. Bad idea! My kids were tired after school, so a long wait was not going to work. One person talked to me, but he was not very friendly. We sat there for a long time. Then I got tired of waiting and we left. I'm not going back. read more

I've heard the saying about "don't cheat on your barber" or something like that but I never cared for it. Should have listened to the saying. I was in Fairfield for about 3 weeks housesitting and really needed a haircut. Normally I go to a place off Geneva in San Francisco, but since I was in the area, I decided to try out Crown's after hearing a lot of good things about them. I had once walked in months before but left because I wasn't greeted or acknowledged. I decided to give Crown's a second chance and woke up early to be there around opening. I showed up about half an hour after opening and took a seat. After about five minutes, this girl came out and asked if I had an appointment and I told her no. She said the next barber would come in at eleven and that she'd check with him if he could take me when he came in. I didn't mind if I had to wait, I had the day off and needed a haircut, so I stayed. There was 3 barbers in the shop, but only 2 were cutting hair. Finally I guess the 3rd got bored or something and asked me what kind of haircut I needed and I told him just a simple fade and he took me to his chair. I mean if you're not doing anything and you could make some money, why not? So I didn't have to wait til eleven and he got some extra coins for cutting my hair. I currently have a top knot hair style so I only wanted my hair cut on the sides, a simple fade. The fade was done really well, though he did take a long time. But I'd rather sit there and get a good hair cut then a rush job. The problem was that I had a bunch of stray loose hairs where my sides and the top of my hair met. Also I have a widows peak and normally I do get it fixed to match my hairline/not stand out so much, but this guy like went crazy deep so when I left and took my knot out, I had a bunch of hair come out. My hairline looks a mess now because of that. So overall, the fade was good, the service could be way better, but my haircut overall was a mess. I wouldn't go back. (also it says they accept credit cards here on Yelp, but they wouldn't take mine. Luckily I had some cash on me.) read more

Walked in places name on list and was told it will be just a few minutes. An hour later I am still sitting here. People have walked in behind me and immediately seated and getting their hair cut. I guess it is more about who you know. If I ever get a haircut it will be my last here. read more

My son has been coming for years. Best barbershop in the area! My son is constantly complimented on his haircut. Everywhere we go people ask who cuts his hair. He averages about once a week. This is my first visit to this barber shop since I'm new to the area. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was the cool vibe. As I was waiting for my turn I paid attention to the other barbers and noticed what an excellent job they were doing on their customers. TJ did an excellent job and he listened to exactly what I wanted done. I'm very pleased with his work and I will definitely be coming back here for future haircuts. The price of the haircut was $15 which is a great deal!! read more

I've been going here for about two years, but as of lately, their customer service has been failing. I made an appointment for my son and me to get our haircut, like usual with our barber. When I got there, I found that I had two heads still in front of me! My time is significant to me (hence why I make appointments). My son wasn't seen until a full hour and fifteen minutes after our appointment time, and to add insult to injury Jay explain that he didn't have the time to cut my hair! Undeterred I came back the next morning, a Saturday, a day in which the barbershop is said to be open to walk-ins. I arrived at precisely 8 am and put my name down on their walk-in list. I had one person in front of me. I began to realize that I was being skipped! I asked the young employee they had operating the list about my position on it. He assured me that I would be next, four heads later I found myself still sitting on the couch! Infuriated I stood up and asked the young attendant to cross me off the list and left. When the owner isn't around the barbers seems to operate off the good-ole-boy system often putting people they know ahead of the clientele that has already been waiting. Black barbers in Fairfield are hard to come by, and I loved this place because they have talent there yet you have lost a loyal well tipping customer. read more
