I finally admitted to myself that I probably won't teach myself with just my books anytime soon, so I recently scheduled a lesson with the owner, Kat. She charges $40 for an hour, which I found very reasonable for her expertise. She helped me select materials, explaining what works best for beginners. It is always exciting looking through the shelves and finding your pieces. I recommend starting out with a class or two so you can experience everything before committing to membership. Lots of really great teachers too.
