When I first moved into Fox Pointe, I should've trusted my instincts. As my ex-husband and I were…read morebringing in boxes, he stopped and said, "What's that on the wall?" It was a baby roach. That was the beginning of the nightmare. After that, they were everywhere -- in the kitchen, in the bathroom, crawling across surfaces, even on my bed. I bought diatomaceous earth, cabinet liners, sprays... everything. I called the office and had pest control come out, but the infestation never stopped. I was constantly fighting roaches just to have a livable space. When my son came back to live with me, I transferred to a two-bedroom unit hoping for a clean start. Instead, I walked straight into a rat problem. I personally found holes where they were getting in behind the stove. I had to buy steel wool and rat traps, and I contacted management because I could hear activity in the walls and saw clear signs of rodents inside the apartment, like rate droppings on my counter and I caught several mice in my traps in my stovetop. On top of that, there was mold on the vents, and instead of actually addressing the issue, the maintenance guy literally spray-painted over it. No cleaning. No remediation. Just paint to hide the discoloration. The air coming through those vents smelled damp and made the apartment feel unhealthy. And keep in mind -- all of this was happening while I was in nursing school. Try studying, sleeping, or even functioning with roaches crawling around and rats in the walls. It was stressful, unsanitary, and overwhelming. I kept my apartment clean, I reported everything, and I followed up repeatedly. None of the problems were resolved in a real, lasting way. I moved out in December 2022, and the fact that I am still thinking about this years later says everything. It was that traumatizing, disgusting, and stressful. Based on what I personally experienced in both units, I would never recommend Fox Pointe Apartments to anyone.

CAUTION & WARNING MOVING INTO THIS PLACE!!! One of the WORST places to live in all of the Quad…read moreCities. I can't even give it one star - I wish they offered - negative stars - The roaches in the basement floor never go away - you can call and call and they are always still there. So if you like living in a dank place loaded with cockroaches - you'd be all set! They are always shutting the water off on buildings. The worst part is they take advantage of new inexperienced tenants by NOT having a pre-walkthrough inspection form or a walk-through after you leave. If you leave and haven't had an inspection - they will charge you out the ass (and just steal the money right out of your account). They will make up 'damages' that don't exist and then claim that it has to be replaced which they will not do - they will TRUMP UP expenses and take whatever they want - They know that these young tenants don't have the money to go to court and defend themselves. They will have other companies make false claims and 'invoices' because they have long-term relationships with them and they don't want to lose their business. They will even have bug inspectors lie and claim you have to spray for (bed bugs) you never had - no proof of an 'infestation' - not even ONE PICTURE of proof! they will have you hundreds of DOLLARS to spray for bugs that don't exist! The office manager is rude and will lie to cover her ass as well - THEY ARE THE MOST GROSS DISHONEST PLACE TO LIVE. They will go into your account and STEAL your money - based on exaggerated and made-up 'damages.' THE ROACHES ARE ONE OF THE GROSSEST THINGS AND THEY ARE LOADED WITH THEM - I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND A YOUNG ADULT TO GO LIVE THERE BECAUSE THEY HAVE AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM - CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!! As you can see the other reviews speak for themselves!!!!!

Absolutely horrible place to live. The elevators had issues the whole time I lived there. The fire…read morealarm constantly goes off for no reason. The water bill doubled in price for months because of a building leak that tenants had no control over. I had multiple packages stollen. The office manager said you couldn't hear the train--blatant lie. I asked to be put on the waitlist for a garage spot when I moved in and then the office manager sent out a general E-mail to everyone instead. You can't control when the A/C and heat go on. Last spring my apartment got up to 84 degrees before they turned the A/C on. Then in December the heat went out and my apartment dropped down to 60 degrees for two days. I had to keep calling to bug them to get it fixed. Run far away

The maintenance people are quick to come check on things as well. BUT if you live on the river side of the building there's a HORRIBLE buzzing noise that started last year when they replaced the boiler in the basement. It sounds like cicadas and kind of eats your brain after a while. It's also haunted LEGIT and honestly everywhere is haunted but this is kind of next level.. there's no luggage carts so you have the stolen grocery carts in the lobby (okay... at least they have those), I could go on and on but I won't.. I live on the NE corner of the 15th floor in a really cool 1bdrm loft, it's gorgeous when you look at it.. Thought i was getting the deal of the century. Lots of Windows, cool view, square footage.. but seriously.. Not the deal of the century AT ALL! I'm moving out, do yourself a favor and don't get suckered into moving in.

If you are thinking about moving here don't! All the Springs cares about is taking your money in…read moreany way that they can, they do not care about their residents at all! It all started when we moved in and found a mouse in our apartment. We are clean people so we were startled about them coming in our home. I told the leasing office and they said they would put out some traps while I was at work. After an 8+ hour work day I came home and absolutely nothing was done. We ended up buying our own traps and we ended up catching 7 mice. I told the Springs that I wanted this fixed and their response was to put lavender around the apartment and suggested a slew of home remedies. I obviously found this suggestion useless so after going back and forth they finally found that the mice were coming through the dryer duct. Now we have recently moved out and had to break our lease because I had to move to Tennessee for work. I told the springs 6 months before we moved that we were planning to move in January but didn't have an exact date since we were searching for a home. The Springs requires a 2 month notice to break the lease. When we found a home a few months later we told them the date but they stated that we did not give them a 2 month notice although I did tell them we would be moving more than 6 months before. This caused us to pay for 2 months of rent while our apartment sat empty. Before we moved we spent an entire day cleaning the apartment. My jaw dropped when they charged over $340 for cleaning fees, our security deposit only covering $300 of these fees. When asked what could possibly cost that much they said it was carpet cleaning and sent pictures of the items in the apartment they cleaned. It was 4 items, 3 crumbs in the dishwasher, a bit of dust on the ceiling fan, and a quarter size of residue in the fridge. All of which would take less than 10 minutes to wipe. This somehow cost over $250 for the cleaning company. When I called the leasing office they even stated that they agree this was crazy but it was what they were charged for by the cleaning company. At this point I didn't care about getting my security deposit back but the fact that they were charging me $40 seemed like a low blow. I would never recommend some one stay at these apartment. Steer clear of this place and save yourself the extra money and their lack of compassion to their residents.
