I sent them an email of what I wanted for them to prep and a paid a deposit that went towards the tattoo total. I'm so bad with names. I forgot my tattoo artist name but I do remember his face. He showed me the design, we decided on the placement and got to work immediately. Even though I don't like needles and I voiced that, the artist ensured me that everything will be fine. Everything was sterilized and I watched him open up everything and set up everything as well. He was slow but intricate and I really REALLY appreciate that. My tattoo came out amazing! Made my visit to Amsterdam worth while!!

I am horrified by the "piercing" I witnessed my friend receive today. A simple helix piercing…read moreresulted in 40 minutes of anxiety, stress and emotional outbursts (from Esther, the piercer!). Not only was Esther unable to complete the initial piercing due to an inability to connect the jewelry, she took it upon herself to pierce the skin a second time in attempt to salvage our business. She rambled in Dutch the entire time, although we made it very clear we speak English. Esther cried on multiple occasions, apologized profusely and proceeded to charge my friend 65 €. We left the establishment and immediately found a piercing shop nearby, who gladly sanitized my friend's ear (covered in blood) and removed the piercing. Please avoid Ink Your Skin and take your business elsewhere.

Tattoo shop was easy to find and has 2 dogs - both so adorable. The owners were super friendly and made checking in easy. The shop was comfortable with a great lighting around.
