Its always looked busy (so busy in fact, a friend said he left the queue of 15 or so cars to it), so we were looking forward to a cheeky fried chicken treat. Sadly however, upon reaching the drive in window, a staff member greeted us with the fact that they were closing half an hour early because they hadnt had their breaks for the day. i sympathise, as i work in the industry myself, but equally, i know that this is not the way to run a any sort of restaurant or eatery, let alone a convienience one. So, 1 star for now, for actually failing to deliver any kind of food or service. (The car in front, by the way, having got there i guess a couple of minutes earlier, was being served). Maybe my anger will subside enough to give it another try. Perhaps at 1 in the afternoon. Hopefully the management will have given the staff a break! -- UPDATE: -- The urge for the Colonels fried treats overtook us,and we used the drive through on Monday afternoon to keep us company on a trip into Londinium Village. The Staff were friendly and superb, and although the service asnt super fast (we had to park up and wait whilst they made our fries) it wasnt a bother. Only real gripe is that the chicken wasnt freshly cooked, and suffered from that rubbery texture it gets when its kept heated for a whilst. Still lovely in the way that only KFC is though! Only 3 stars as soooooo disapointed first time, but would say its worth a visit and as good as any other ive used.

You had to take your order to the service bar and pay at the same time which did mean you could just get up and go when you were finished rather than hunt around for someone to pay.
