Why would I give my purse to a complete stranger? I definitely don't feel safe doing that....especially since two white women had walked in mere seconds after me with large, open purses and he didn't say anything to them about their bags (hmm I wonder why). I left without buying anything because I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that are hostile and have discriminatory practices. If you want all purses held at the front counter that's your right as a business owner but why enforce rules with one person but not everyone? Last night I went to open a bottle of Tres Generation tequila and noticed it did not have the plastic seal on it. Checked the rest of the tequila bottles I had bought and found another bottle without the seal. Went to the store today to exchange them for bottles with the seal. The shift manager wouldn't do anything because I have no receipt. I told her I have the credit card I used to buy the items and asked her to swipe the card so she could see everything I've bought. She stated "Oh, we can't do that our system is from the 80's." So she called her boss who wouldn't do an exchange or anything for me, and from the phone call I could tell her boss kept harping on about no receipt. To which I said its not like I'm trying to get any money or anything like that and if you could swipe my credit card like damn near every other place I shop, you'd see my previous purchases. These two brands were on the shelf. I visited 3 different liquor stores on the east side of Las Vegas and neither carried any Marsala cooking wine. Only Sherry wines. Reasonable prices, great selection of a multitude of spirits and wines. Sonny was very helpful with the clearance sale wines and knowledgable. Highly recommend if you live on the east end or are in the neighborhood to pay a visit. The staff were willing to reorder more bottles for the future too for all wine lovers.
