We did a family photo shoot in St Thomas on Sapphire Beach yesterday (Feb 3rd) with Sage. I cannot recommend her enough! From the minute we met, Sage was super welcoming, positive, encouraging, and fun to be around. She made us laugh the whole time, and knew exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I got married at home in Chicago but we wanted to take pictures on the beach and I'm so thankful I found Sage! She was so easy to work with and her pricing was so reasonable. We did a beautiful Trash the Dress shoot in St. Thomas. When booking I asked how long she suggested for this kind of photo shoot and she said an hour would be sufficient. When we showed up she took her time and made sure we got all of the different background that we wanted. We definitely took over an hour, but she didn't mind at all and didn't charge us any extra. We also received our preview of 50 pictures before we had even left the island. Sage is sooo nice and a great photographer! read more

We highly recommend Sage for any of your photography needs. We made our first visit to the island this past November and wanted some family photos for keep sakes (and a Christmas card). Sage provided a lot of guidance as far as scouting locations and ultimately we settled on a professional suggestion - Brewer's Bay. It was clear why she suggested the location, it was exquisite. The natural open landscape allotted many "frame-worthy" pictures. Sage was especially wonderful with our 3 year old daughter. She exuded an abundance of patience and was able to extract the playfulness from our daughter that captured her full range of personality. The interaction was genuine and appeared second nature, which made for a fun, engaging shoot. We didn't expect to have our digital photos back to us within the short time frame between Thanksgiving and Christmas and requested only an untouched, raw photo if possible to use for Christmas cards. Sage impressed us again with her turnaround on the finished digital copies of our shoot giving us plenty of time to order/make a family Christmas card. We couldn't be happier with the final outcome of the pictures and the overall experience. Whenever we return to the island and are in need of photographs, we'll be seeking out Sage beforehand! Trying to pick a photographer when you're miles apart can be a bit nerve wracking but when I came upon Sage's website / profile, I knew this is who I wanted! She had a great personality that put me at ease, which was especially important seeing as we didn't meet until the day of the wedding. I have to be honest and say that I wasn't sure how the pictures were going to turn out as I was sooo nervous before walking down Hawksnest Beach and at 10am in August it was already getting a wee bit HOT out. My fear was that these factors would show on up in the pictures!! Not the case at all!!! The pictures were amazing; our friends and family are in awe. We ended up with so many truly incredible photos during our two hours...posed and casual, the beach, the rocks and ruins on Caneel Bay. I could not of imagined that they could of / would of looked this spectacular! Sage was a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her! read more
