Do not use this place to do alterations. I had them hem a dress for my son's wedding and they did a terrible job. My dress was sage green and they used a bright green thread and the hem line was very crooked. The shop was dirty and there was no where for me to try on my dress to see where the hem needed to be. I had to duck behind other clothes that were hanging up. And it wasn't cheap. With the job they did it should've been free !! read more

Don't go here! Its a dump and they over charge as well my clothes looked worse than when I brought them. She destroyed my silk robe by it appears washing it in the laundry. Lost one of the closures and did not plan tell me about it. Or offer me my money back. On the other garment that also looked worse because it was not properly ironed she claimed that ruffles are too difficult to iron tho I thought that was why I was charged double the advertised price. I would give this place 0 stars across the board. It used to be a decent cleaner but the new owners no nothing about what they are doing. read more

Crown Cleaners - Fabric frayed away from washing - Laundry Services Near Me - Visalia, California

I was in town for a few days at the convention center for a meeting, I took my four laundry white collar shirts there, the shirts were really wrinkled when I came to pick them up. One of my shirts were damaged. The manager told me, the only wash the shirts and are not responsible for pressing them. I told them it was not about the money but the principal of not doing quality work. They refuse to iron the shirt or give me a refund. They told me they were sorry and pointed at the policy on the door that they are not responsible for the quality of the service. They charged 4 dollars for each shirt and did not produce a $4 service. I told them I would never use them again. I do not recommend this place. They do not care about their customers or their reputation in the community. read more

I didn't want to give them any stars, but I can't post my review without one. I took a goose down comforter to them on 2/12/26 and the male employee told me to come back after the Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. I went back on 2/21/26 to pick it up. The woman brought me someone's else's and it was filthy. I told her it's not mine. She brought me another one, she said something about cat pee. It wasn't mine. Side note, they have a cat roaming around in the shop. No wonder it smelled like cat pee!!! Then she brought a third one up. That was mine. I asked why it wasn't in a bag. She said it hasn't been cleaned yet. I asked why not. She said something about hasn't had time. She said she will clean it for free. To come back in a day. I came back in on 2/24/26. Again she brought it up to me and it wasn't on a bag. I asked why not. She said chemical smell. Then I asked for a partial refund. The male came up and said no they had to clean it twice because it was so smelly. The comforter had just been sitting in my room. I don't know how it was supposed to be so smelly. I told them that I won't be back. The male said good we don't want your business. I paid $40 to have my comforter sit there for over a week and when I did go in to pick it up, it still wasn't cleaned. read more

I took a $250. Jacket to them I have my receipt they said I picked it up 5 days later I was not the one who picked it up I gave the receipt who ever they gave it to did not have my phone number or receipt # now they are not willing to do anything I'm trying to get video of when it was picked up read more

People are always so quick to leave a bad review, but never take the time to leave a good review. I've never had an issue with Crown Cleaners. They've always been very nice and professional and I love their work. My boyfriend recommended this place, and I'm so glad he did. Although they are out of my commute, I will continue to go to them. read more

I paid $30 to get my dress cleaned there and it did not come clean!!! When I asked about it they were rude and said they knew that there was a stain that they couldn't get out but they couldn't give me back my money and wouldn't clean it again.... read more

I've been using Crown Cleaners on and off for over 10 years. And have always been more than pleased with the attention my garments have received. This last time I was not... I had a pair of slacks and a dress shirt dry cleaned and pressed, the slacks were great as usual, but the shirt however was wrinkled and only half pressed. I'm sure this was an honest oversight and I will continue to use their service as they are quick, their work is usual perfect and their price is more than reasonable. read more

I've used this cleaner in the passed and have never had a problem. Most recently I took a coat to them to be cleaned. When it was picked up I couldn't believe it looked and smelled worse then it did prior to giving it to them. I am going to ask them to rectify this situation and will check back in soon. Hopefully they have the good sense to clean my coat! BTW there is white dog hair all over it and I don't have a light or white dog and it smells like cat urine and I don't have cats!!!! Yuck read more

Was never impressed with their dry cleaning abilities, but still brought my daughter's jumper in to be hemmed. Very simple. And done all wrong. Had it repaired by a seamstress and she said "Wrong thread. Wrong stitch. It's crooked and they didn't trim the fabric, just folded it under." Which would be why it looked hideous. Never bringing anything here again. The drive thru is convenient, but everything else is awful. read more

I took my clothing here to be altered. I needed a simple hem and a hole sewn up. I picked my clothes up 8 days later. They were handed to me in a wad, not folded, pressed, or in a bag. I went home only to realize that NOTHING was done to my clothing. She gave me my clothes back the same as I gave them to her! I paid this woman $40 for nothing. Now, reading the other reviews I'm not sure I even want to bother getting my money back. TAKE THIS AS A WARNING! Don't go here for alterations!!! read more

They lost my coat, I waited 20 minutes for the lady to tell me she gave my coat which looked similar to another persons to them so now I'm coatless until they call back and not so much as one sorry for the inconvenience read more

Went there once and the cleaning was OK. The next time I went I also had some alterations done on a shirt (it just needed to be a little shorter). First of all, they couldn't find my clothes when I went to pick them up. There was quite an ordeal to get them found! Secondly, the tailoring was a BUTCHER JOB! I had to throw the shirt away. They chopped of waaaay too much - ridiculous. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I've used Crown Cleaners weekly for years. They're quick and I've never had any issues. I also love that they have a drive-through window.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! I wish I would have read the comments before bringing them my gorgeous 250$ dress that they ruined!!! I brought them a beautiful velvet evening dress for alteration because it was a little to big on the strap. She completely ruined it and I payed 30$ for an horrendous work ! The dress didn't fit me right anymore. When I asked for a refund they didn't give it to me. The job was clearly done wrong and ugly !! not giving someone a refund after ruining their dress is unprofessional! The older Asian lady that did my alterations was very rude and said that I wanted the alterations that way ! Which is absolutely ridiculous! If would wanted the alterations done the way she did it I could have done this horrible job myself !!!!The work she has done on my dress was so unprofessional I could have done a better job! She simply just cut the straps and sawed them back together and not even straight totally crooked !!! I also ask for one tiny little stitch on the slit of the dress and she saw the whole entire inside together ! Unfortunately on a velvet dress you can see every little hole that was made ! Even after taking out the stitches myself the material was clearly ruined ! What was also very odd that they made me pay the 30$ up front which is not usual ! When I picked up the dress the entire store stank like fried fish , she handed me the dress while eating the fish and a long tentacle hanging out of her mouth it was so disgusting. When I got home I saw the horrendous work and noticed that my dress was stinking like fried fish !!!!! I am so mad and sad on how this went down ! Everyone makes a mistake but you need to admit your mistake and pay the refund and not being rude and unprofessional and blaming ME for the ugly work she has done ! I am furious!!!! Please do not come here ! This people are nasty and rude ! read more

Terrible place!! Don't go here! My husband took his Michael Kors suit to be dry cleaned and ended up with someone else's off brand suit. We called and they said that was the suit we took in and that they gave us the right one. The suit they gave us wasn't even my husbands size so we knew it wasn't his. They wouldn't refund us either. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away! read more

After desperately needing some dry cleaning done, I decided to try this place out after seeing it on yelp. Positive: - They get your clothes dry cleaned and ready for you to pick up the very next day. - Prices are cheap. For nine pieces of clothing, it came out to about $25. Negative: - My makeup (foundation) stains on my white blouse were not removed completely. - My shirt was not pressed or ironed right because when I put it on, the buttons on the shoulder part of my shirt didn't match up together or looked even. - My white dress had extra black dirt stains on the side. What the heck?? All in all, they did an "eh" job. The negatives outweighed the positive in my experience. Not coming back. read more

Hey local Visalia people, DON'T go to Crown Cleaners!! I brought them my clothes for a couple small alterations and dry cleaning on Thursday and I specifically said I had to have these by Saturday because I leave on a business trip early Monday morning and THESE ARE THE CLOTHES I'M TAKING TO WEAR! They promised they would be ready by Saturday and confirmed that the would be open until 6pm. They are supposed to be open Saturday 8-6. Guess what! THEY AREN'T OPEN TODAY!! No sign, no explanation, no answers to my phone calls! I'm PISSED BEYOND BELIEF!!! Now I have to go buy new clothes for my business trip!!! Don't waste your time or money!! Pass it on Visalia Peeps! read more

They ruined my Yellow Canary Blazer and while linen blazer. When I came to pick my garments up, I immediately noticed that the canary yellow blazer looked almost like a chartreuse. I asked the attendant what happened to my jacket, he tells me that I brought it there that way...... I told him false, when I brought it in, it had a stain on the collar that is it, that is all. The blazer was silk and brand new. Is only worn it once. Then I noticed the white linen blazer was dengy, that was new as well. It looked like black specks woven into the wood. He was extremely rude, would not admit that they're ruined my belongings and when I asked him for a the owners information, he shoved the business card in my hand. This place has the worst customer service and won't take responsibility for their horrible dry cleaning methods. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review on any business. This one deserves it. If I could give them zero stars I would but the system won't allow me to post without giving at least one star. read more

They ruined my leather vest they couldn't even sew it straight. Then the lady had the nerve to deny it then she didn't even offer to fix it. This lady has no regards for other people property. It's seem she just wants her money not a happy customer. read more

Don't go here. Cloths where not cleaned an my pants went in good came out with the seam missing in the pant cuff..

My review is re-enforced by the prior reviews. Horrible business. their reputation is destroyed as a result of horrible customer service, sloppy work, and crappy service all the way around. Their prices are cheap yet they gripe about raising their rates. They're cutting their own throats. They're cheap sure, but it also reflects their business as a whole. You get what you pay for but I would much rather spend a little more to get my garments done right. THE FIRST TIME. Just not a good experience all the way around. I won't elaborate but I will NEVER step foot back in their facility. I think one star is too much. read more

Very unhappy, took husbands suit in took it home an was still dirty, an the hem of his pants was let out for no reason..

First time using a dry cleaners and I'm just hopeful that they are not all as bad as this place. Customer service was subpar to say the least. The only staff member working was sitting on the sidewalk texting when I came in. Pricing wasn't bad. But when I came in to pick up my P-Coat I noticed the couple spots on that jacket that I wanted to get cleaned off were still present. What made it worse is there was now a bunch of hair on the jacket that was not on there when I dropped it off and there is a weird smell to it now. Looks like I spent money to have them pull my jacket out of a dirty hamper and put a plastic bag over it. Wouldn't recommend. Hoping there are better places to get some dry cleaning done. I'm going to be joining the police academy soon and would never trust this place with my uniforms. read more

I will NEVER go back to this place. In Dec 2013, I dropped 3 garments; 1 NFL jacket and 2 NFL jersey's. I went back a week later and they DID NOT return my clothes. I made numerous attempts to speak to the owner with negative results. Since then I have not received a phone call for my missing items. I did seek legal counsel and its in progress. Don't know what happen to my clothes and apparently Crown Cleaners DOES NOT either. It is sad that a person (me) must used legal matters to get a response from the business. Be careful with your NFL garments!!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES!! I brought in a dress to get altered. They said it will take 1 week to complete. It took 2 weeks. When I came to pick up the dress, right away I can tell the dress was messed up. The stitching was horrible, the seams did not aligned, there were hanging threads everywhere, crooked stitching, the dress couldn't zip up and it didn't fit properly. When I pointed out all that was wrong, the son said he will have his mom redo it.That was a mistake! I shouldn't have let her redo it. She obviously doesn't know what she is doing. I was told by the son I was going to get a call that my dress was done the second time around; that was a lie. I never got a call. I had to go there to see if the dress was done. When I looked at the dress the second time around, you could see tiny holes on the dress from when she removed the threads. He told me the dress had to be pressed and the tiny holes wouldn't be visible after that. WRONG! I asked for a refund but he told me he couldn't do that and to come back another time when his mom was there. I returned for the 3rd time to see that the dress was not to my liking. I asked again for a refund but again they refused. I told them if they didn't offered refunds then they should have it posted for their customers to see. They have horrible customer service and don't know what they are doing. The son is VERY rude and does not know how to speak to customers! If I could give them a negative star I would.. they don't deserve a 1 star. read more

This is the worst place to get your clothes cleaned. I know first hand because I was a employee for about 2 years. I have worked at a few Dry Cleaners. This place is very dirty and the owner who is there daily does not dry clean the majority of clothes she just washes them and drys them. Some things she dry cleans if they absolutely cannot be washed. I have seen her get into several arguments with customers who were not satisfied and I have seen customers call the cops on her. When I finally quit she refused to pay me. It took me several weeks to get my final check when she does payroll weekly. read more

The woman tried to give me my uniform back without even touching the shirt and my pants half pressed. They ruined the crease on my pants and ended up making 2 creases down the front of my pants. After the woman yelled at me and said that it must have been because I machine washed my pants(which have never been machine washed), she then said I was a liar..? The woman continued to refuse to fix my clothing or give me my money back. She would not take responsibility for not pressing my clothing. After awhile, the husband stepped in and apologized for her and offered to fix my pants and shirt. Luckily he was able to fix my uniform, but I will never be going back to this business. The woman was so rude and unprofessional. read more

I have been coming here for years and never really had a problem with this place until now. I hate writing bad reviews about places but this one's a must. My fiance went to pick up some work pants and a shirt he wore for Christmas right after the New Years and apparently the cleaners gave his clothes to the wrong person and claimed it was me who "went in there" and picked them up. When I heard this, I went in there in person to find out what was going on. First, they claimed I went in there on New Year's eve (which I didn't even leave my house that day) and I "pointed" at a hung bag of clothes and claimed it was mine which also never happened. That person WASN'T me! They admitted they had forgotten to label the bag so whomever this lady that walked in there and pointed at our clothes, they ended up just giving it to her. Then the older lady who works there began yelling at me that I went there in my "black car" (I have a silver Honda) and it was me who picked it up and they "don't make mistakes there." Funny thing is on their own computer it doesn't show that they signed out our clothes. It's obvious they gave it to the wrong person and won't admit it. I will be taking them to small claims court! Unprofessional and ridiculous people! read more

I took a comforter to crowns and the lady actually pulled it out of the dirty bin and wrapped it in plastic as i watched her. Then I tried to complain to the manger and he told me he was working and he would have to call me later. I'll never go there again read more

Been using this cleaner for a few months and haven't had a problem until my last order. They lost my sweater. They swore up and down that they gave it back and asked me to "triple check" my closet because I might have misplaced it. Ridiculous. From the looks of the previous reviews, this isn't the first time this has happened I just didn't think it would happen to me. I was in such a hurry when I picked up my order I forgot to check my pieces. Don't bother with this place. Go elsewhere and pay an extra dollar or two for a piece of mind and a great job. read more
