Being a small business ourselves, we also try to use other small community businesses when we need to outsource a project. I initially reached out online to get a quote for our small project. I was contacted a few hours later and given a quote. I asked to be put on the schedule and I was told I would be contacted Monday with a day and time for our shredding to be performed. I did not receive a call on Monday, so I called back the following day and spoke to a gentlemen who apologized for not getting back to me, say he would see where the ball was dropped and someone would call me back to get me on the schedule. No one called. I called a 3rd time at the end of the day to inquire as to scheduling and the number is apparently a personal cell #, as I was told he was heading into a funeral, that someone had called and left a message regarding my appt and that someone would call me first thing in the morning to verify the time. I did receive a call mid-morning on Wednesday and was told that he believed I was contacted previously, but realized that was an error and that I was on the schedule for Friday. At this point management had already opted to use another shredding facility which was available that day. I am sincerely sorry for their loss, and I do realize sometimes things slip through the cracks, as we all are just human, but it is very frustrating to have to call 3 times and not receive a straight answer. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident for this company, as the other reviewers seemed very happy with the service. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Rhet C.

Rhet was raised in Centerville Indiana, and grew up working on a farm, enjoying family, sports and outdoor activities. He graduated from Ball State University in 1996 and carried out his lifelong dream as a Wildlife Biologist for IDNR. A career changing decision was required to move back to Richmond Indiana, where he and his wife Jill, purchased the family farm and started a family with 2 sons, Gabriel and Jacob. After eleven years working in automotive manufacturing management, Rhet welcomed the opportunity to change careers. The confidential document shredding industry was a great opportunity for Rhet to focus his passion to succeed in a business that is built on trust, reliability, and lasting personable relationships. Got a quick, pleasant response with tons of info and various options. Had initially looked into having them come to house - but after comparing the price for that vs the price to bring to their facility, opted to bring it there. Facility was easy to find by the airport and once there, the interaction was fast and smooth!! Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and pleasant! And they did all the 'heavy lifting'!
