This is not only morally wrong -- it may violate labor and civil rights protections in Florida. Under the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) & the state statutes protecting individuals from unfair and discriminatory employment practices, all applicants and workers deserve to be treated fairly and with dignity regardless of age, background, or any other factor. As a result of your handling, my daughter suffered emotional distress all day. There is no excuse for treating any human being especially a young adult looking for work in this demeaning, biased manner. I am evaluating filing a formal complaint with the competent authorities. I demand a public apology from your company, and that you review and revise your hiring practices so that no other applicant ever again endures such mistreatment.
