NEVER EVER EVER HIRE this company!!! A stated 2 week duration to cut 14 trees and grind stumps stretched from July 5th to mid October. Chad Crouse quit speaking to me or responding to texts inquiring whether he was showing up. (Most days he didn't respond.) They cut half the trees and did proper cleanup the first time. He abandoned the project half way through telling my neighbor he was selling the business. He didn't complete the work. He never returned and turfed the second half of the job to his partner. The other very large trees all around the house were cut down in mid October by his partner. The trunks, and all the branches were jammed into the bushes around the house seen from most my windows This work was preparation to sell my house and is an eyesore to buyers..See pictures. Of most significant note is I made a complaint to the BBB. His response was I was mentally ill. The more I pressed for them to clean up the yard I WAS TOLD TO STOP BITCHING about him abandoning the project and requesting they clean up my property. The end result are in the photos which was barely an improvement and performed 10 months later The most annoying statement he would tell me after abandoning the project , was that he was doing me a favor despite not completing the work. Being called a bitch and in a very angry text I sent I WAS CALLED A PUSSY demonstrating his total lack of character and any shred of dignity! HE IS STILL IN BUSINESS DESPITE USING IT AS AN EXCUSE TO QUIT. AGAIN NEVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SAKE.. Here are the pictures taken AFTER the "clean up ". read more

This company is so unreliable and unprofessional. We spoke to Tad to log our property in Annsville. We made plans to meet him at property on Saturday at 10 am. We traveled 5 1/2 hours as we come from Pennsylvania. He told us he would be there even if rained. We got there waited 2 1/2 hours. He didn't even return our phone calls or text. Don't do business with this company. Plus gas prices are high wasted going back n forth for nothing. I'm also reporting him to better business bureau. Thanks for screwing with us. Crouse Tree Service was very affordable, clean, and prompt. They are environmentally friendly and extremely careful not to disturb the surrounding area they are working in. I will hire them again and suggest you do also. read more
