In addition to utilizing traditional methods, Dr. Dan also employs EMDR psychotherapy which had amazing results. I had spoken to other therapists in the past, and had achieved some lasting effects, but nothing could have prepared me for the impactful work that we were able to do together in a very short period of time. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after a few sessions, it was truly incredible how much we were able to make progress against some pretty traumatic incidents. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the level of compassion I was treated with was really unmatched. Not only did that help with the therapy, it also guaranteed a high level of trust between the provider and patient. I cannot recommend Dr. Goldstein and the Nashville Psych practice enough. While many doctors have been wonderful, we thought we would try a different approach with Dr Vaughn. She was not a good match for us. She called my child self-centered and a spoiled brat. We have never had single doctor say anything but great things about my child and it's been over 10 yrs of getting help. This sent my child way back to the point of barely interacting with their own family. My child's confidence is not good to begin with. Now we have a hard time getting my child out of the house. We have so much guilt for bringing our child there.

I've been through the entire group, as well as Graduated from Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy group. Both awesome, the RODBT is just a little more complicated and in depth. All the staff are great and always smile and offer coffee or water. I've had great experiences here and would highly recommend it. Jennifer is AWESOME! I've seen her for personal therapy for years. (They have group once a week and an individual session weekly as well.) I've never felt more comfortable with a therapist and I always feel heard and never judged or "lectured at".

When…read moreI originally contacted them I asked the person on the phone if they could help me because what I needed was a sign off for the bariatric surgery. The person told me yes,so I went,after dedicating my 4th Saturday I finally asked when are u going to sign the paper work that I need? My health is consistently deteriorating& my surgery isn't about "looks" I'm in not stop pain & my BP was 200 over 120. Paid my money dedicated my time for what should have been 1-2 visits!! I'm the 1st to admit I indeed need therapy but me getting out of pain & being healthy has nothing to do with it! So long story short she never signed the paperwork stating that I'd be OK after my surgery and I've got to start this whole process again! Thx for absolutely nothing!!!
