I was just sharing info on a great woman run small business. Anyway I thought I would shre my reasons for loving Jazzercise of Cherry Hill: · You absolutely do not have to be able to dance or even be coordinated. I have 2 left feet...lol. · Jazzercise is dance, barre, kick boxing, Pilates, strength and balance all rolled into one. Sometimes all in the same class, heck sometimes all in the same song! · The music is great and all current (it's actually a Jazzercise rule that it has to be J) · The instructors are all energetic, fun, encouraging lovely ladies. I mean seriously, all of them. I couldn't even pick a favorite; I love them all so much. · Jazzercise of Cherry Hill offers classes online, in person (I feel very very safe) and outside (weather permitting). Also, if you're an active member Jazzercise, Inc. sends you a code so you can access Jazzercise On Demand. · All the other ladies/gents (customers/dancers) are so nice. From day one everyone has been very welcoming. I've never had anyone tell me "you're in my spot you need to move" (yes I actually had that happen in a Zumba class). In the past 7 years I have tried it all Zumba, barre, kick boxing, boot camp/personal training and running but I always felt like I had to do multiple activities to get a complete workout. Not with Jazzercise, it's the complete package and you don't even realize you're working out. If you want to work off some quarantine pounds or get ahead of the holiday gain reach out to Lisa at Jazzercise of Cherry Hill. You won't be sorry!

I had a Groupon and was very, very excited to try the Barre Ampped classes. I enjoyed the classes tremendously. Great workout although not as intense as I would have liked. (Of course, I had just finished months of straight Pilates and running so I was in pretty good shape.) I've only done the TRX and Barre classes here but they also have Zumba, pilates, yoga, etc. A few comments-yes, some of the instructors vary in quality and teaching style which stinks because these classes are expensive and for what you're paying, you should be able to get consistency. This is normal for gyms though bc you will like some teaching styles better. It is also pricey which deters me from going more often. They run specials frequently on their website which helps with the cost i.e. a barre class will be $13 instead of $20.

I was looking to add some variation and liked that there were different classes available versus…read morejust barre. I purchased a bundle of classes during their summer sale promo. Which was not a bad deal 10 classes for $55. I tried registering online for the beach body glutes class and was unable to. I sent an email and after not hearing back at the end of the following business day I gave them a call. The beach body glutes class is a part of the barre series. So it would use up 2 of my classes versus one ok! So they were able to add me to the class. Upon entering I checked in with the front desk and being my first time I did not know where to go. I stood there is silence thinking they were not finished checking me in. I then noticed they were and explained I was new so I did not know where I was suppose to go. The women at the front desk then directed me to the studio. Can't they see in their system that I am new? Customers should be treated with more respect. On the upside, Donna was amazing and friendly. She noticed I was new and introduced herself. Throughout the class she remained engaged and so energetic. I could barely keep up and I wasn't the one working out and instructing a class! It was really a great workout with the use of a rebounder, skateboard, free weights and many other items. Unfortunately, this class interferes with yoga so i have not been back. Next, I tried spin & core with Brandi. She is also so pleasant and makes you work so hard. This class consists of 45 minutes of spin and then 15 minutes of core workouts on the mat, with weights, and the use of other equipment. She changes it up from week to week which is very nice. However, recently I noticed that this class is not available and had not been replaced on Sundays which is when I like to spin. This was what made it miss the 4 star mark in my eyes.

A couple of meals were posted on the app but it was not tailored to my needs and food allergies, just cut and paste generic recipes. Worthless. The gym is dirty, grips are sticky which implies that they are not wiped down ( I used machines right after another person and no wiping was done). My workouts were not structured with respect to goals and when I questioned James he said he would have to get to know me better and he needed a year? As I questioned many things, I was met with answers that were not direct and a barrage of statements that "I'm the best, I have degrees, you should trust me?" My confidence waned after several weeks of trying to stick with working out and quite frankly not knowing if it was appropriate for me or I was moving from machine to machine just to fill the half hour which cost $50. In addition to the facility smelling like mold, floors dirty, machine grips sticky, the bathroom was nasty too. Clean and spacious environments.. its a log cabin and the air quality is not the best. On the website it states Monday thru Saturday. Not so. He doesn't work on weekends. And train "like a movie star".. well, I don't even understand why that is on the website as a leader statement. Do u think it is appropriate to be training someone for $50. A HALF hour and be on the phone with a Company because your website is not working? Or leave to tell a person working in your yard where to dig holes? Professionalism...lacking. Think twice before you join this gym.. the photos on the website are misleading, it doesn't look like that and the trainer espouses how great he is but I witnessed nothing that gave me confidence with respect to a customized structured workout plan just for me. Does anyone ask for a year to "get to know you" if they are an expert in the field. I have worked out all my life and have been to many gyms. I do not claim to know all things but I am not a novice with respect to working out. I was expecting a personalized training program and goals with a personal trainer and so disappointed because of the great buildup of all the testimonials online and the complete absence of "personal" with respect to training. I had five more sessions that I paid for.. $600. for 12 1/2 hr sessions. He refused to give me a partial refund and he took money he didn't earn. By the way, are those photos on the website of actual people that have been there or stock photos? Clean and spacious place to work out? Customized workout plan? Sports nutritioni? Train like a movie star? Med Core. Beware.

CrossFit looks intimidating on the outside, but once you get started, you realize it's more than just a fantastic workout- It's a community! And a fun one at that! I had thought about joining a crossfit gym for some time, but was always way too nervous, as I thought it would be too tough. But after a hell of a year I decided I have nothing to lose! I read reviews of Furion and knew this was the place to be. It took a lot for me to build up the courage to go to that first class 2 months ago, but I am so happy that I did! As soon as I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a huge smile from the coaches, and the members! Somehow seeing people be that happy during a workout eased my anxieties pretty quickly! I immediately felt welcomed! The coaches are so patient, and will teach you everything you need to know as you go, with words of encouragement every step of the way. One thing that has really stood out to me is how the coaches help you get past mental blocks you might have by simply just believing in you! My first time doing deadlifts I didn't think I'd be able to lift even 50 pounds. But the coach was very confident I could do more, so I kept putting more and more weight on, until I was deadlifting my body weight. I never would've had the confidence in myself to ever attempt that, so it was a very eye opening experience for me. Although they push you to be better at every workout, they will never put pressure on you for anything! It's all about positivity and building on your last workout. This place is for anyone at any skill level, and it is truly a judgment free zone. The people here treat you like family, which I think is very unique in a gym. It's not a fancy place but that doesn't really matter; you're hopefully there to work out and it's perfectly fine for most people who want to work out. One thing that should be pointed out is that they recently swapped some seemingly underused equipment out for half racks. Those look to be very popular (so kudos for meeting customer's needs) but also freed up the smith machines. This makes the gym more open and leaves more racks open at a time. [Further to the gym's credit, it was not too long ago that that bought two extra smith machines to meet demand] My only real issue, as in the past, is that there is not great etiquette among some gym users. Too many people occupy benches and equipment for long periods of time while just sitting on their phones. This happens most often with the cable machines or leg sled. If I can finish three sets of two or three different exercises before you so much as reach for the bar, that's not bad behavior. There are also way too many times that someone takes dumbbells from the rack only to stand only just inches away from it, keeping anyone from getting near that part of the rack. There's no excuse for that when there are several hundred square feet of floor behind them.

Luckily I was able to stop at the Princeton location after work, if not for that I probably would've cancelled right away. Why does this location not have real pickleball courts and hardly any open play times?? 2. The gym is mediocre at best. Half of the space is dedicated for their strength training classes, so at busy hours, good luck finding a rack, especially one with a mirror in front of it. 3. They also don't have a turf area, or any sort of soft surface. It is all hardwood. 4. Half of the machines are very old, especially the cable machines Also, their business tactics are shady in general. When going to sign up online, my only option for membership was "the signature" so I assumed that is all they had. Turns out after 5 months I realized they have a standard membership that is slightly cheaper, but is not marketed anyhwere because they want you to pay up for the signature. So I was paying around $414 a month for x2 people to get subpar basically everything.
