It's a bit pricier than other gyms, but is always way cleaner. We have an app that allows us in after staff hours, so only members can go in for a true 24/7 experience. Only gripe is that I wish it was a little bigger during the times when personal trainers have their classes, but we make it work. Staff is also A1. They do sell supplements and clothing in the gym as well, which is also a great thing.

For your first visit you need to go in during staffed hours but they will set you up with guest passes, which were extremely reasonable $. You can also pay a bit more and obtain 24/7 access. The staff was friendly and the owner even introduced himself during his workout; that tells me a lot about the culture they try to create for their members. They have have a ton of equipment with stuff upstairs and down. Most equipment is plate loaded or free weights with just a few plate stack machines. It's a different brand (Arsenal) but much of their equipment is "Hammer Strength" style. There are two bathrooms upstairs (with showers) and two downstairs. If I were to give any criticism, it would be that equipment needs to be wiped down and facility needs a deep clean. There is a lot of dust and grim on equipment where lifters don't make contact with the machines or the floor. That said overall cleanliness was completely fine!

Their own employee acknowledged the cancellation, and I even have a voicemail confirming that management failed to process it. When I later canceled my regular membership, Amped gave me an official cancellation document showing $0.00 owed and stating that my cancellation had been processed. Now they're claiming I owe a Personal Training balance and have sent it to collections because their own staff failed to do their job. Then the new GM has the nerve to offer me a "Debt Forgiveness Program." I don't need debt forgiveness--I need Amped Fitness to take responsibility for its own incompetence. This is an absolutely pathetic way to treat customers. Document everything with this company because apparently their word--and their own employees' assurances--aren't worth anything. This company deserves to go out of business.

It genuinely didn't even feel like 30 minutes, but apparently, the infrared heat makes such a huge difference. It's not that heavy, sticky kind of heat like Tennessee weather. It's this dry, warm atmosphere that keeps you focused and motivated instead of distracted by how sweaty you are by the time I finished, I felt so accomplished, energized, and honestly proud of myself. The vibe in there was great. The space was super clean, and the whole experience just felt next level. I would absolutely recommend everyone try it at least once. You'll understand what I mean the second you step in. Hotworx gets a solid 10 out of 10 from me.

The instructors are motivating, but they encourage you to go at your own best pace. They are also very positive, they emphasize gratitude, and really coach you throughout the whole thing. The sauna environment really completes the experience and kicks up your workout to a whole new level. The sweating feels so cleansing, and I'm not drained and tired afterward, but energized! My skin has really improved as well. I also love the variety, with an array of choices, you can't get bored or plateau. You can find the ones you like and stick with them, or you can mix it up. They utilize foam rollers at the end of the workouts, so you can roll out those tight areas while your tissues are warmed up. To top it off, it's open 24 hours, and you can book your workout time slot on the app. A side benefit that I have noticed, is that I am more focused and I feel calmer and more in control of myself. My friends and I were in town for mini girls trip, so Boothcamp was the ideal sweat spot to stop into. Both the interior and exterior of the gym are very appealing to the eye. There is a huge garage door at the front that opens up to the street to let in the fresh air (and allow you to easily get outside for a few drills....!) The space is long and narrow lined up and down with different workout equipment. Had me wishing I would be able to come back to try out the other workouts and circuits! We saw Shawn, but didn't take his class (as it was of course full), but our instructor Jordan was fantastic. He put us through three rounds of five stations (at two minutes each)... it was a damn good full body workout. We used a variety of weights, jump-boxes, med-balls, ropes, and bikes. I fully appreciate when a class it taught by someone who clearly loves to be there, cares about their clients, and provides motivation. So thanks, Jordan! I will be sure to drop in again next time I'm in town!

A gym should be a place where members feel welcome and respected. Instead, this location left me dealing with staff who thought it was appropriate to stand around gossiping about guests. Specifically, the Black female employee (with the very obvious, poorly kept wig) and the White male janitor decided their time was better spent making negative comments about paying members instead of doing their jobs. I don't know if this is the kind of "culture" management condones here, but it was beyond ridiculous, childish, and completely unnecessary. I travel often and have been to multiple Crunch gyms across the country, and I have never experienced staff so blatantly unprofessional. When you're in town on business, the last thing you should have to deal with is feeling like you walked into a high school cafeteria instead of a fitness facility. At my home location in West Hollywood, staff go out of their way to create a positive, supportive environment. Here, it seems some employees would rather stand around acting like mean kids than maintain the level of professionalism Crunch claims to represent. Members are paying customers, not targets for staff gossip. If this location wants to maintain any standard of excellence, management needs to address this behavior immediately. And if it isn't corrected, I'll be more than happy to escalate this to Crunch corporate, because this type of behavior drags down the reputation of the entire brand. As someone who travels frequently, I often recommend gyms to colleagues and other business travelers. Unfortunately, I cannot in good faith recommend this location to anyone until the staff learn the basics of respect and professionalism.
