CrossFit is a mix of aerobic exercise (including running, rowing, swimming), gymnastics (body weight exercises), and Olympic weight lifting.
Crossfit Edinburgh is a great advocate of this definition in a friendly almost family atmosphere - supportive but yet competitive (with each other and themselves).
