Everything you need to feel great and smash fitness goals all while having a great time . This studio is tucked into the foundry and we all know location is king . Total vibe walking in & I was immediately greeted by Lisa who took excellent care of me during check in , tour , class set up and what to expect . Lisa let me know she was also going to be the instructor. Lisa's experience is immediately recognized as soon as class starts and her cues and modifications are on point ! I must say she's also in GREAT shape and it's always motivating to have a strong instructor. I love the variety of heated and non heated classes , multiple rooms , amenities and strong sense of community here . Each room has its own name and its own vibe . Cycling , Boxing , Fitness, Pilates, battle ropes , barre , Yoga and a brand new recovery room with sauna and cold plunge ! The showers are a huge plus , especially after heated barefoot kettlebell bootcamp . I would absolutely be back ! As a traveler , the only con is this location is not available on the class pass app like other locations in the U.S.

The price is around $115 per month and I started on one of their holiday deals which were super affordable ($1 per month!). It's definitely more affordable than other options in the area. They have a variety of classes like Pilates, HIIT, cycling, boxing. And many of their classes are heated which definitely gives an added challenge. They have good parking and a decent spread of classes at different times. The instructors have all been great, there hasn't been one I don't like. The staff has always been professional and accommodating here. The music during the classes can be pretty loud so that's one thing to be aware of before you come. I'm very happy with my membership and would recommend it to people looking for an affordable, engaging, and motivating exercise membership.

Maryville Fitness is different, & it is exactly the right fit for me! At Maryville Fitness, you get personalized workouts/training in a small group setting. Dustin is an excellent trainer. He is committed to supporting you in your goals, very easy going while still providing the accountability and the push you need for training. He is very conscious of form and breathing. He is consistently supporting his clients in noticing what muscles are being worked & adjusting if there are any aches or pains (and the adjustments are just as good if not better than the original exercise!). I love the intuitive movement and embodiment that this encourages! Also, the atmosphere at Maryville Fitness is truly very welcoming of all body sizes & abilities, which can be hard to find in a gym. In addition to all of these things, I love that we can schedule our own workouts on our own time via an app & there are plenty of times to choose from. This has been extremely supportive to me in being consistent, which I have been the entire time I've been going - which is a big deal for me! Lastly - there are no mirrors and no intimidation! I could go on and on about how great Maryville Fitness is - I cannot believe we have access to such a great gym/training experience right here in our community! If you are thinking about it - just go; it's so worth checking out!

When I tell you that Blue Ocean has changed my life, I really mean it…read more My two closest friends started working out here a couple of years ago, and after finally giving in to peer pressure, I decided to give it a shot last January. I'm coming up on my one year mark and I can honestly say it has been one of the best things I've ever done for myself! I never felt great about any gyms I've belonged to in the past. I'm not a huge group class person, and personal training has always been $$$$$. Enter: semi-personal training! Basically, each of the trainers here has a few clients at one time, but it still feels, well... personal. You get your own workout, there are just others around you doing theirs, and it actually adds a fun element of community at the same time. Instead of working out so hard that you can barely walk the next morning, the approach here is more reasonable and based on intentional repetition vs. killing yourself. I typically do three circuits made up of 3-4 exercises, 3-4 times each. My muscle growth has been slow but extremely consistent, and I'm finally seeing the exact results I've always wanted. Working out three times per week at Blue Ocean has kept me feeling so strong and healthy. As a bonus, when I have to travel for work, I can pause my membership--and they even give me workouts to do on the road. The trainers are fantastic people, and the clientele is great, too. I look forward to belonging to Blue Ocean for a long time!

They have fitness packages to fit your budget, so that you can invest in your body to build a better you. I enjoy the varied workouts! Every time I come I have a different workout routine that keeps it interesting and keeps me motivated. Arthur and his team offers private personal training, small group training, large group training and fitness classes. His team of personnel can also customize a diet and nutrition plan for you as well! Arthur and his wife participate in body-building competitions, so if you are looking to build muscle for personal gain or to compete, they can help you accomplish those goals as well. He and his team embrace a lifestyle of health and fitness and you can't help but to be motivated by that and want to be trained by some of the best in St. Louis. Another thing that is important to me is customization and friendliness. Everyone wants a trainer who is friendly and personable as well as the person who can kick you into high gear to get results. The customization aspect is the fact that instead of them having a "one size fits all" approach to diet and workouts, they have a conversation with you about your lifestyle and give you the components for success in order to meet your goals. It is up to you to implement all or some of this plan and based on your choice, your results will reflect that. I am all about supporting small business and I am proud to support Arthur and his team in helping build a generation of healthy and fit people that are able to live their best lives.
