Hello OTF Guelph team,…read more I have been in the Ontario region for the better part of two weeks now and have had the opportunity to visit and work out at many of the OTF studios in the region. The experience has been ok, one was pretty poor in one of the studios, however last night I was luckily enough to get into the 830pm class in the OTF Guelph studio. Right away first impression blew me away, the two wonderful staff members who were working the counter were very friendly and welcoming. I felt so welcome coming into the studio. Extremely clean and well kept, to me it looked liked the studio opened up a month ago, surprised that the studio had been open for so long. Then I met the coach for my class. Jet was so full of energy and was so personable and genuine. Had a great conversation and got ready for the class. When Coach Jet was doing his prep with the group he went out of his way to recognize me as a guest from out of town and that is was my birthday as well and got the group to welcome me with a round of applause. WOW, I felt jacked up for my workout. Jet brought it. Motivating and attentive to everyone in the class, I had one of those moments that I normally get in my home studio (OTF Davie - Vancouver) where I am on the tree and the coach is pushing the group, motivating - I have a moment where I think how lucky I am to be part of a community like OTF. The city of Guelph is so lucky to have a studio like this, filled with amazing staff. Thank you for having me and I really look forward to dropping in again next time I am in the GTA. It is not good at goodlife. The logo of this place is very hypocritical. They have all these…read moremotivational quotes in the gym and none of the staff carry out those quotes. The staff don't say hello, good morning, good afternoon, or welcome to good life or even hi or hello. Each and everyone will gather in front of the gym and gossip about members who go there. Very unprofessional. One of the staff was so aggressive to me and my family when giving us the towels. I was like so shock. I won't be surprised to see members leave this gym. I know a lot of the members who left already. The management team need to get this gym in order and I fault the person who run this gym and that is management. Keith is a very nice man and he is the only one who is extremely polite, welcoming, a big smile on his face and a very nice man. The cleaners are very nice too. The gym is a clean and nice gym but unfortunately the staff fail this gym. At this point we are looking at Movati Athletic. This will be our next gym. We go to a gym where we will be appreciated

I have a had a bad experience, Let's see if I can put this…read moredown on an e-mail. So I've received personal training. Had payments come out. But I change jobs and before/ at the start of changing jobs I asked if the payment could be change by 2 business days to reflect my change of payday. My personal trainer said that it can't be change. Just let the payments bounce and pay it when you come in next. Not knowing that GoodLife charges a fee of $25 and my bank charged me $48. After noticing this I became really made, and cancelled my sessions with the personal trainer. I paid the bounce amount at the gym, But them GoodLife tried to take out it again out of my bank now I have accrued another $48 and you guys took out a further $25. So I coped $146 in fees not happy. This has made me very angry. Now the personal trainer spoke to who ever and change the day the payments come out on. But here it is, why did I have to go thru this in the first place. If the personal trainer had done what I asked in the first place I wouldn't have gone thru this Drama. I don't understand. I really don't. It was only 2 business days. I was able to contact someone at head office to change my membership payment straight away. So I don't understand why this couldn't have happen when I asked for my personal training payments to be change. Right now I so mad, angry and upset. That I can not step foot in that gym. So I had a meeting with the manager. I keep my end of the stick signing the changes to the paperwork. I was told That NSF fees from GoodLife was going to be refunded. Now I sent the manager an email. Asking if this was still the case and if so when will I expect it. With no reply, I then proceed to email again, only for the email to come back to me. I made a 72 session commitment, I would like to keep my commitment. But not if I am been lead on with lies. If it's not the case then it need to be communicated to me. So I check my account, The changes have not taken place, so incredibly angry, like really angry, GoodLife attempted to take amount which should of been changed to monthly, I sent charryl an email dropping the F bomb. And the trainer dropping the F Bomb. I was trying to be reasonable, fair, but looks like I just got fucked up the ass by GoodLife again. I don't want free sessions, I just want the money that I lost through bank fees, your fees.
