The staff is always kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which makes such a difference. The shop itself is clean, organized, and well cared for, so browsing never feels overwhelming. There are always great sales happening, with different items marked 25-50% off each month, which makes it easy to find amazing deals. I've found some really great treasures here over time. RePete isn't just a thrift shop, it feels like a little community gem on base.

I enjoy supporting the thrift stores and really enjoyed shopping here. However, this trip has left…read morea sour taste in my mouth. After 2 trips into the store (because I was being an honest customer and was charged wrong) I still was not charged a delivery fee(TWICE). The manager STILL wanted me to mamake a payment to have my furniture delivered to me. Nope. We will come pick it up since customer service is not a priority!!! So buyer beware if you want something delivered make sure they charge you for delivery fee otherwise they will be asking for more money and not owning up to their mistakes. BTW Jacob in the store was most helpful in wanting to rectify and went above and beyond to give customer service!

Luckily I was able to find a pair of Joe flare jeans here in excellent condition…read more They were $27 which is a great deal since they looked like they were only worn once. This might be a little pricey for a thrift store, but this is a consignment shop and again they were like new. I will say that there were some items in the store that were very outdated and very worn and should've never been on the racks to begin with. Other than that I was glad to find a few items that were more on the youthful and trendier side. I think it's worth it to come here at least once and see what treasure you're able to find. I'm glad I found a very nice pair of jeans but not sure if I'd come here again but glad I checked it out though.

I recently discovered Uptown Cheapskates and decided to check them out…read more Cheapskates kinda reminds me of Plato's Closet but way neater. I browsed the store for about 45 minutes and didn't find anything worth buying except for a tiny purse. They did have some beautiful jeans that were in really good condition, but not in my size. And a few jeans so liked that I tried on didn't fit quite right. I did notice a couple of jeans that had some stains in the front and I think that for $20 it is expensive. In my personal opinion, I feel like if you're going to sell jeans with stains on them, they should be $10 maximum. I could be wrong but I think $20 for stained jeans isn't a bargain when you can find $20 jeans at Ross or Marshalls brand new. Something doesn't seem right about some of the prices here and the same thing goes for Plato's closet. Overall, I'm glad I came in because I was able to walk out with a brand name leather crossbody purse for $12. And that was definitely a really good deal! Definitely coming back to check things out again in the near future and hope to find something that will fit well. Thanks for the dreamy bag Uptown Cheapskates!
