The queues are never very long so if you want to buy the 'Meal Deal' during your lunch break then you'll have time.

Upstairs it has all the normal things such as hair and body products, a pharmacy and prescription service a huge make up section with all the major brands there and some of the more expensive ones too. It also has a couple of the all important Boots Advantage card machines. Down an escalator is a huge down stairs with all the baby products and photography related things including developing your photos service. All in all its a good shop and nicely laid out however I have received rude service quite a lot in here, even from managers. The only drawback.

Prices are competitive, other than the food/drink section, which I always find to be rather expensive at Boots compared to rival chains, as they rarely seem to have any offers in that section, combined with higher prices before promotional offers even come into play too. The selection is reasonable, the staff were friendly enough and this is a good Boots location overall that I would return to on future visits to York. 4*

We went to this Boots Pharmacy today ("pharmacy" being a huge understatement, as the store is large and it's very much like an American chain store) and bought the item we needed. The man who rang up our purchase (in the pharmacy section) was SUPER-friendly and we had a delightful conversation with him. Also; the store is well laid-out & very clean, and the selection looked very good.

This shop is in the Hill street shopping centre between Primark and Woolworths. It stocks everything you could need to do with health and beauty. I have always found them to be stocked well and hardly ever sell out of products even when they are on offer. I do however find Superdrug quite expensive compare to other shops but their range of Christmas gifts that are all 3 for 2 are great value. I like the way you can even buy your newspapers here, very convenient.

The shop is located on a little row of shops where you will find space to park. There is also a small carpark behind the shops. Cundalls is a very busy chemist due to having the Local Doctors situated on the same row of shops. As well as the usual pharmacy supplies, Cundalls has a few gifts and health items. You will have a wait if you take a prescription as is supplies medication to a lot of peopke including to a local home. However the staff will be happy for you to wait inside and browse or just enjoy a good old chat with the staff.
