Dr. Hyer really cares and works with us to get through the difficult or uncertain times. She's very…read moreapproachable and goes out of her way to make sure both children and parents are all set. Both of my daughters go here and the care is unparalleled! I also love that we can call or email and get a quick response even during off-hours. This office has made the little kid phase a lot more doable for sure!

I've had bad experiences on multiple occasions with Hampton Peds, but today was the icing on the…read morecake. The first occasion was blood in my infants stool, and when I called the nurse literally couldn't have cared less. Her response for my call to them was to ask me "What I expected them to do", those were her words verbatim. She honestly made me feel like a crazy first time mom, so I let it go and started to not have as much dairy as i was having and hoped it helped. He is still having GI issues. Second experience is multiple instances regarding my poor kids skin on his neck that is still after a month and a half raw and oozing at times. I saw Dr. hyer a month and a half ago who has generally been great during appointments. She said it was fungal and to pick up a tube of an anti-fungal from the aisle at a pharmacy. I thought it was a little strange instead of a prescription, but i figured id try. It helped a little at first, but it kept getting worse again. I called the office twice about this after and they would not let me come in for it.. the same nurse that said the comment about his stool said his neck was not a good enough reason to be seen, to do tummy time so it would get air and keep the area dry. My kid is not teething and really doesn't drool. I've literally tried everything..he needs to be treated. I honestly feel like I'm neglecting my child at this point following their advice for treatment.. I see friends who have had similar skin issues with their children and they said they got a script and it cleared it up quickly and they moved on with their lives. So today he had an appointment to get shots.. I pep myself up before I go telling myself I'm going to put my foot down and advocate for him, and not leave until we have something for his poor neck. I go and the nurse said its just a shot appointment and ill have to make a separate appointment for his neck to be seen. How ironic - its the same nurse who said his neck wasn't a good enough reason to be seen and wouldn't let me make an appointment for it, and who also dismissed my worries about blood being in his stool. I mentioned I have literally tried to make an appointment for his neck and couldn't get past the nurse and that this has been going on for over a month- they did not care. I signed paperwork today have my sons records released. They didn't want to make the situation better, they did not care my sons neck is a mess. I don't know if the nurses aren't getting the messages to the doctor or if its the whole staff there that are being neglectful. But I'm pretty disgusted. I"m not special and don't need specialized care. I feel like this is standard stuff and should have been treated a long time ago. My child is still uncomfortable and luckily I have an appointment with another provider coming up.

I came home to find clothes dumped on the floor, dishes in the sink, a life alert bracelet not put back on, even the cat locked in the porch, among other things. The home office never gave the workers my relatively brief list of chores which meant that I needed to spend time (at my expense) going over the list. The office was inconsistent in contacting me about what worker was coming. Last week the worker was late and when I called to inquire, they said that they had switched workers and this one would be 15 minutes late. She never apologized, instead insisting - 3 times - that they had called, which they had not. Overall there seems to be a lack of concern and competence, and I did not feel confident leaving my 98 year old mother in their hands. The work is too important to have such a cavalier and unprofessional approach especially at $40/hour.

This place is disorganized and their billing is a mess so I would not recommend them. Even the Director. I have an email from her saying what I owed - I paid it - and I keep getting more bills! Even when I send copies of my cancelled checks, and I speak with them personally and they agree what I paid, I get more bills. It is beyond ridiculous that they cannot figure anything out. I can only imagine if I hired them for a longer period of time what a mess this would be!
