I tried one of the biggest box stores once or twice and it did not work out for us. In rare cases where some of the amounts are not entirely covered by plans, he is flexible in working out something. He is always cheerful and fills out prescriptions in time correctly. In the rare even he has no stock he will also offer some alternatives. Absolutely love his flexibility. His staff is equally good. If you are regular he will also offer discounts on OTC medicines and has a limited supply of snacks, candies, chewing gum etc.

Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because I had no refills on my prescription and I didn't pay attention to it because the old pharmacy would always be on top of that, and this week my Doctor is travelling and I wasn't able to get a refill on my prescription. I will have to pay attention to it going forward, but I was really spoiled with the way the other pharmacy was by alerting me that there was only one refill left or none for that matter. But like I said, overall I am happy and satisfied.

I also love that the service is always super speedy. Having previously worked in a pharmacy for four years, I know that there is much more to filling a prescription than just "slapping a label on it". That said, the pharmacists take the time to properly review your prescription for accuracy and speak to you in a very timely manner. I think the longest I have ever waited is 10 minutes. I'm not sure if this is their average, but I certainly know that you can experience wait times of 45 minutes to an hour at other pharmacies. When you're really feeling crappy and you just want to get home, this is a big deal. As an added bonus, they are located right next to Food Basics. I generally will pop into the grocery store and pick up anything I need in the time that it takes the pharmacist to fill my prescription. On top of all of this, I have gotten to know the owner and primary pharmacist fairly well. His name is Angelo. He's very friendly and will make you feel very comfortable. It's really nice to see a real small business owner who's trying to make it out there amongst all of the big box stores. Angelo mentioned something to me today about them offering a delivery service twice a day. I don't know much about this, but if there's something you need and you can't get out of the house, this might be worth looking into. Keep up the great work, Angelo! I don't care how far I have to drive to come and see you, I make up for that time with your fast service. Thank you!
