State Farm sent me this company and me and my daughter was sitting waiting for help and then he…read moreshowed up and saw I was waving at him hour or so later and he was at the entrance of my apartment complex where I lived. He told me he couldn't help and abandoned me and Annabelle there. She walked towards him when he showed up so she saw that he drove away after he said he couldn't help. I called State Farm because I wanted to follow through because he said he called for another towing to come. They canceled thrice and I was afraid my car was going to be hit by a vehicle trying to pull out in front of me. It just kept getting closer at the time. I ended up interrupting my friend at work who showed up about two hours later. He had a pickup about a little smaller and barely a tower and got me out and parked me near the fire hydrant on the curb. I told the guy when he was there he could park it anywhere close to the curb so it would not get struck hopefully. Now what I don't get is why is the towing guy claiming he helped me when he spoke to me from afar and then abandoned me? Then he said my car was in the pileup? I don't think he's understanding that he's not getting the facts straight about the interaction. I didn't expect him to retaliate with a text this morning. He said: STOP LYING ON PEOPLE, IT REALLY REALLY HURTS SMALL BUSINESSES What are you talking about? I very clearly tried to help you and got stuck myself, I went back to help another customer in the area the very next day and seen your vehicle at the very bottom of a 8 car pile up so how'd your friend pull you out of that???? If we show up and see that the job isn't safe to do we mark it as unsuccessful after that it's out of our hands. I have 6 children to make it back home to safely. And I never even showed up in a truck.... Please add the photos of your friend pulling you out for further proof. You're the first 1 star review out of over 120 5 star reviews. Make it make sense!!!!!!!!!!! You WILL NEVER EVER RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FROM ME AGAIN AND YOU BETTER HOPE YOU DON'T NEED IT EITHER BECAUSE I HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE IN WINSTON SALEM ON A DAILY BASIS I responded because I was being disrespected. No you didn't! I waved to you then you told me you couldn't help me ! My friend had to stop his work and get me and he had the same truck and a cotton belt to pull me out! You make it make sense! I don't forget harassment Well this is not helping the situation for both parties and I did end up notifying State Farm for the situation. I think everyone was stressed but all he had to do was apologize and be on his way because I didn't matter to him then and in the present.

It took less than 5 minutes for him to get the car inspected and I was out the door. I wouldn't have found this place except that Google Gemini pointed me to it, but I'll definitely be back for the inspection on my other car when it comes due in a couple of months. The mechanic (owner?) Keramatollah Lashani explained all the requirements to have the privilege of doing NC inspections, so I can see why so few places want to do it, but this guy sure deserves 5 stars for the service he provide to me today!

I trusted this shop with my 2021 Nissan NV2500, and the experience was a complete disaster from…read morestart to finish. First off, I clearly explained the problem: the van had serious starting issues (sluggish crank, dying immediately, needing to sit with the ignition on for 10 minutes before it would finally start). I also provided them with a full OBD scan showing the codes (P0507 idle air control, P0171/P0174 lean conditions, etc.), and gave them the van on Thursday morning. I was told it would be done no later than Monday evening. Instead, they didn't even start working on it until Sunday, and then told me Monday night that they had ordered the wrong part. I didn't get my van back until Tuesday evening -- five full days later. That's not just poor planning, that's negligence. When I picked it up, everything seemed fine for one day. By the next day, the check engine light was back. I cleared it once thinking maybe it was a fluke, but within another drive the van had multiple codes again -- including lean conditions on both banks, fuel ratio imbalance, misfire codes, and control module errors. Worse than that, the van now has no power on the road. I pressed the accelerator all the way down and it struggled just to creep up to 63 mph over the course of a full minute. To make matters worse, the shop has since gone completely silent. I've called, texted, and emailed multiple times with no response. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. So let's recap: * Gave them plenty of time -- they delayed and wasted nearly a week. * Installed the wrong part the first time. * Returned my van with even more problems and dangerous drivability issues. * Refused to communicate afterward and left me stranded with a failing vehicle. This shop has shown zero accountability, zero urgency, and zero respect for their customers. If you value your time, money, or your vehicle, I strongly recommend taking your business anywhere else.

After hitching a ride with my fiance, I started looking for mechanics and towing services. I found Kernersville Towing & Sons and gave them a call. I explained that I was planning on having the car serviced at Crossroads Ford in Kernersville. They then explained that they do all of Crossroads Ford's towing and, because of this, could get me towed to the mechanic for just $55. I felt like this was a great rate, so I accepted it. They said they could come by the next morning and pick up the car. I explained that, unfortunately, I would have to be at work around 7 AM. They then told me I could simply leave the key in a hidden place and they would be able to pick up the car without me being there. But, I don't trust people, so I said I'd prefer to not leave my key outside, albeit in a hidden location. Kernersville Towing was more than accommodating and suggested that I just go ahead and take the key to Crossroads Ford, leave it in their dropbox, and, provided I left the car in park with the emergency brake released, they would be able to pick up the car without my assistance in the morning. I agreed to this and, around 8:30 AM, I received a call stating that they had picked up my car and were on the way to the mechanic. It was a nice surprise to receive such an update. In addition, their relationship with Crossroads Ford allowed me to consolidate everything into one bill. It was quite convenient! In short, this is an extremely considerate company and they kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I will definitely give them my business in the future. Thank you!
