Only a few minutes from Mackinaw City. Super clean, adorably decorated, plenty of towels (very important.) Our double queen room had it all, well almost, no hair blow dryer or tea bags. Those coffee drinkers get everything though. The kitchen has an almost full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, small convection oven thing, utensils, etc., a table and 2 chairs. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, oh, I didn't see any extra blankets. The property offers lawn games and lakefront across the street. I did hear traffic from the nearby highway, so if you are a light sleeper pack accordingly. Geez, as you can tell, I really liked this place.

Chad (the owner) is an incredibly nice guy who worked exceptionally hard to be as accommodating as possible. The rooms were impeccably clean and stylistically modern- and I slept like a baby. The resort provides access to a lakeside beach with a myriad of water, toys free to use, as well as a beautiful fire pit and porch swing chair. Kindling included! With the six mile drive to the ferry, the next time I want to go to Mackinac - I will undoubtedly stay here. And you should too!

It was perfect. So clean and pretty. There is a community fire pit that the camp hosts light every night. One of the camp hosts even came down and played awesome guitar for us one evening! The camp hosts are some of the nicest people you will meet. Fresh coffee every morning as well. These are empty cabins so bring everything, sheets pillow, blanket, etc. They have charcoal grills you can pull over to your cabin. I would recommend a foam bed topper, the beds are quite uncomfortable, I think that would help. There is a playground for the kids, picnic tables at your cabin too. We didn't go in the water because it was FREEZING, but many brave people did. Highly recommend. We will be back!!!

Check in was super easy, and at Mill Creek Campground. Going towards the end of the season was my favorite choice in the fall, but anytime you can here is beautiful. Highly recommend!
