I have had readings done by…read moreboth vedic as well as western astrologers, I am very picky when it comes to giving a reading a five star because I sampled different readers between New York City and Portland Oregon in the past five years, I am giving my first reading with Julie a "one star" based on the following: 1. The information The information she gave me during my first reading was just so so; I did choose a general reading just to get a feel of the astrologer, when you want to consider spending more than $100 on a reading you want to make sure he or she is good, otherwise even a $90 sample reading is waste of your dollars. 2. The reading itself felt rushed There are other astrologers out there that offer a free 30-minute consultation to make sure you are happy with the person you consult with before you purchase a reading; my reading lasted about 45 minutes, it felt like she just wanted to be done with the reading as soon as she gave me all the general information she could give me, it gave a very "generic feel" afterwards and that contributed to a one star rating. 3. Sales right after first reading I think if you want to attract repeat customers you need to make sure you gave your very best to your first reading with a new client; Julie started selling me her forecast readings that range from $150 - $200 plus shipping and handling towards the end of my first reading, why would I consider a more expensive reading if I'm not impressed with the first one? Not mentioning she is the first astrologer that tried to sell me other readings during a consultation. 4. Tone of a reading I have had so many readings done in the past, I know when somebody puts sincerity into the craft of giving somebody an astrology reading, or not; the soul of a reading is absent working with Julie, I am spoiled having had readings done by astrologer friends of mine who taught in online astrology schools, the quality of the reading you get from someone who treats it like a soul-based business is different from someone who treats it as interpretation of your transits. Conclusion: Yelpers, if you value your dollars I would start googling other astrologers you can have a more satisfying reading experience with, settling for less is not necessary in the astrologers market, Julie contacted me right away when I submitted my payment for my first reading, and I never heard from her via e-mail when I contacted her to receive my Dropbox file for the recording. I am very surprised, this kind of post reading customer care is totally unprofessional.
