All I know is that I gradually lost all oil pressure and heard insane knocking noises. Not exactly the thing I wanted to happen on a rebuilt and upgraded engine that is only 7-8 years old since the last rebuild/machining. Definitely too soon for something like this to happen. She wasn't even over 100K miles yet (maybe around 80-90k?). On top of that, I never raced her let alone even had work done requiring removal of the oil pan! I was very strict about oil changes and all maintenance. She was my daily driver and racked up a good amount of miles. Still unsure exactly what's causing my problem as I haven't taken her apart yet but at this point, time for another engine (unfortunately)! Very disappointed.

We had an old wooden kitchen table (3x4' rectangle) that we wanted to give a modern upgrade without…read morebuying a new table. I emailed Troy at Sun Sheet Metal with the measurements of the tabletop and explained I wanted a custom brushed finish stainless steel 'cover' to give our table a two-tone look with metal on top and wood legs. He responded quickly and after a brief email exchange to hammer out the details, he put the order into production and it was ready for pickup the following week. My wife picked up the metal table 'cover' and the guys at Sun Sheet Metal helped load and carefully 'tetris' it into her car. We could not be more impressed with the final product. It fit absolutely perfectly over our existing table top, has beautiful smoothed and polished edges and corners, and is SOLID. They used 16-gauge stainless steel sheets and it looks and feels very high quality. And price was reasonable and it looks like a brand new table. If you have a custom metal project, give them a shot. They seem to mostly do larger projects, which I'm sure are also high quality, but it's worth asking about smaller jobs like this. See attached pictures of our little home project.

Waited a week for the guy after all the excuses because he sounded like an honest man. He tells me…read morethe tow truck will come tomorrow and then shows up out of no where 30minutes later. He then tried to bait and switch on the payment after offering $250. The tow truck driver "only has a check." Recycling companies are notorious for paying with check that bounce. All they need as the title signed and they got all the leverage. He said "just take picture of my truck" which I could not find the company on google maps. The guy acts like he is leaving then bust out $225 cash and said that's all he can I offer. I say no the offer is $250. He then pretends to leave again and then comes back with an offer of $225 plus $25 check but at this rate all trust is gone. Every one of these companies use the same shady tactics. Edit: updated with google review response. My phone records all calls and gives a transcript of the conversation as well. I told you how companies like peddle offer checks and they end up bouncing and you said that's fine cause we pay cash. Look at the sass and disrespect in his response. This looks like a dishonest man caught in a lie to me. This is the man y'all are doing business with. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
