To him, it might as well be an F-16 hitting the afterburner in his face and he will attack it and I mean attack as in life-saving hit. So, yes of course there is a hole in the nozzle of the dryer Leonna now uses but she is so calm and gracious, she persevered because both my wife and I handled him tightly from that moment on. The grooming is perfect, this is a polished professional plus she lets my wife stay through the session. We now wash and blow dry him before the appointment, mainly out of respect for Leonna and putting the dog through being muzzled and agitated. He is not too bad at home, certainly does not feel life-threatened and he enjoys being bathed and groomed, brushed and is OK with nail trimmings too. We imagine in his former life, the people who owned him tormented him in his cage with either a leaf blower or vacuum or both. When you rescue dogs, you so wish they could talk...but if this guy could talk, he would tell you that he does like Leonna, a Wizard!

Chloe was terrified of getting her nails clipped and would cry like she was being tortured. Andrea suggested we work through this, having Chloe come in once a week for what was, essentially, "nail-clipping therapy". Andrea would get Chloe up on the table and let her work through her anxiety until she could relax a bit. Then she would clip the nails on just one paw. This was followed by praise and affection. These sessions would initially last about 10-15 minutes and I was not charged for them (though I did insist on paying since she was taking so much time with my pup). After about a month of working on one paw per visit, Andrea had gained Chloe's trust and my pup no longer puts up a fight or wails like a baby when getting her nails clipped. We now take both of our pups to Clips and Cuddles for all of our grooming services.

Absolutely awful experience, I will not be returning nor do I recommend going here. I get a call about an hour after dropping both dogs off- only about my little guy. They told me they were absolutely stopping services on him as he was barrel rolling, and trying to bite. He doesn't react this way ever and I even called his normal groomer to confirm if this is how he acts - she said absolutely not as they must have done something to provoke him. They weren't very nice upon drop off - my boyfriend assisted me with bringing them in and they were absolutely rude & just dragged my dogs back with a loop leash. They ended up doing just a bath on my little one & full service on my big one- I simply am disgusted with the services and unhappy with the establishment as a whole.
