So glad I found Cristina on Yelp! I hired her to be my makeup artist for my wedding. I was so impressed with her from the first time we met. Her prices are reasonable and I had her do a trial makeup session about a week prior to my wedding, per her suggestion. I'm glad we did a trial so I could get a feel for the products she used. I had some eye irritation with the false lashes but nothing I couldn't deal with. A girl needs to feel a little glamourous on her big day! I loved her studio inside her apartment. It was very impressive, professional and lots of good lighting. It was also a very serene atmosphere. Plus she has a gorgeous Maine Coon cat that came out to greet me! Cristina is very sweet. Her personality is bubbly and her attitude is contagious. She texted me a few times after the trial to make sure I was happy with the makeup, and to see how my eyes were doing. On my wedding day, she had champagne and snacks for me and my bridesmaid. She also had beautiful soothing wedding-themed music playing softly in the background. I had an amazing experience with Cristina Jacobs in Las Vegas. Cristina transformed both myself and my birth mother into beauties for a mother/daughter photo shoot. Cristina is an amazing girl and make-up artist! This review is more than just a review for a make-up artist is a review based on my experience with Cristina- after I met her through Yelp. I had a great experience since the day I contacted her online. My boyfriend and I decided to get married in Vegas (we live in Romania) and after a lot of online researches, based also on the reviews choose to I pick her as my make-up artist. She was very nice from the beginning, and it happened that she helped us with much more than she supposed to. When I wrote her first time, we had nothing planned for our wedding in Vegas- we wanted something spontaneous and when she heard my idea, she proposed to me be part of the live show "Las Vegas Good News"- (where she collaborate as a make-up artist). In this show, there is a moment called "60 Seconds Wedding "-for events like this. I was totally surprise, but in the end, I accepted. Cristina helped me with the marriage plans. As I wrote before, she came with this great idea for us- to have a live, outdoor wedding on TV with an enthusiastic crowd, in an outdoor location (Linq Promenade) - that was something unexpected for me. In the wedding day, she made me feel so beautiful; I had a gorgeous make-up, perfect for the lights of the show, made me feel like a star. It was an amazing day. I remember a funny moment, the producers forgot the flowers and Cristina ran and brought me some flowers from around and during the ceremony she was the second photographer for me. In that night, I also met her husband John- very funny and nice guy. We had just one day left and we still didn't visit the Grand Canyon at that time. When they heard that, they offered to bring us there in the next morning to be sure we won't miss that. I couldn't believe how lucky we were and in the next morning they pick us up from the hotel and we went to see the Grand Canyon. We spend all day together, we had fun, we took a lot of pictures and we really felt like we are not alone in US, we felt like we were with our friends. In our way back home, they took us to "Las Vegas Sign" -as a surprise because they say it's a must When we left Vegas, we didn't had time to get the Apostille for Marriage Certificate -they help us with this to and I recently got the papers in Romania. Cristina put a mark on our wedding and our Once-In-A-Lifetime moment in Las Vegas. I've never met her before and she was a lucky charm in our journey. She is a great make-up artist, a nice girl, positive person, helpful - all the good words for her. I am happy I chose her, and I am grateful that she and her husband made our important moments a great experience. I would recommend her anytime for more than just a make-up artist, but also as a friend, joyful presence, very helpful, trustful person and coordinator. Although I have had some technical difficulties using Yelp and this review is long overdue, I feel a genuine NEED to post about my experience with Cristina! I went to Vegas back in November for a fitness competition and my friend and I booked an appointment with her based off of the pictures we saw of her previous clients. She was incredibly sweet and organized and was diligent in confirming our appointments and reassuring us that she saved the day just for the two of us. When our competition day rolled around, she met us where we were staying and was friendly and had such a positive attitude (despite the fact that it was 4 in the morning). While she was doing my makeup, I didn't feel well and ended up passing out and having a seizure and being taken to the hospital. Before being taken out in the ambulance, she was right there by my side (even quickly reacted and put something in my mouth so I wouldn't bite through my lip) and treated me as if I were her own family member. Later that day, she reached out to me to see how I was feeling. Luckily, I was able to leave the hospital after a few hours. Despite the fact that she had already left our venue to enjoy her Saturday, she told me to come over to her house so that she could finish what she had started that morning with my makeup and hair. She made me feel so welcome and showed such a genuine care for me as a person that I truly wouldn't ever consider booking with anyone else!! Although it had been a long, disappointing day, she took her time and ensured that I left her house looking and feeling like a rockstar. I went back to Las Vegas for another competition two weeks ago and made a point to have her do my makeup. I had similar health complications this time, but was still able to have her come and do my makeup. Because of how incredibly exhausted I was from all the contributing factors, I was extremely tired and was not feeling very social. Cristina still showed up to my venue with her heart of gold and treated me like family. She was so incredibly sweet and caring and made SO many accommodations so that I could lay back and close my eyes and SLEEP while she did my makeup. The makeup came out AMAZING and despite feeling slightly out of it, I looked like a million dollars. You can see from her pictures that she is incredible at what she does. It is evident that she truly loves her work and takes pride in each and every client. But what truly sets Cristina apart is her beautiful heart and genuine care. She is, without a doubt, one of the sweetest people I have ever encountered and I cannot say enough to really emphasize how much I appreciated everything she did for me. So I have had many people do my make up in the modeling field, and a lot of times I can tell they do not know what they are doing. They won't clean the brushes, struggle putting lashes on, apply the make up harshly, pick the wrong colors for my skin tone, and do my eyebrows horribly. I hardly have any eyebrows, so I can always tell if people know what they are doing based off of that. Cristina, however, always does an amazing job and never ceases to amaze me.
