The husband is French and his wife is Japanese, it seems she does most of the cooking while he does most of the wine preparation. What took me by surprise here is the exceptional level of quality in every bite of food. We were truly mesmerized with the flavor and the sourcing of the ingredients, I really do believe this place does all organic farming, and because of their location out in the French countryside, farm to table is not something they market, it's just who they are. We ordered the classic croquet madame, and it was easily one of the best bites of food I've ever had in my life. I don't understand how they achieved this level of flavor with ingredients that everyone else in France would be able to have access to if they looked hard enough. I was hoping to come back here the next day, but they were closed on Wednesdays. We can't wait to come back on our next trip.

Beers here are a little more than average for the area 3.30 euro and up. We've been in the Franche Comte for 6 days now and have been paying on average 2.25 euro for a beer. Overall it was a good dejauner (lunch) stop. Would definitely go back to try more on the menu.
