The nice man with the coffee truck "Keep It Simple", churns out the best Sumatran coffee ever. Has different coffee beans, perfectly roasted, available for sale. The fruit and vegetables are great, especially the local garlic, rhubarb, tomatoes and scallions. There is a cheese vendor who has incredible locally made goat cheeses, we tried and purchased one with caraway seeds. There is a phenomenal jewelry stand owned by a Tibetan couple, lots of lovely pieces from Nepal. Cute market, always enjoy coming here. It's a gem!

There were lots of great vendors there - hand made items, farmers, coffee truck, food items, plants. The coffee truck rocks - great coffee. Found a teenaged artist selling some cards for quite a reasonable price - as well as a hippie-type dude selling some interesting herbs. (No, not that kind of herb.) Picked up a great Orange Mint plant with an amazing smell.

Additionally, a corn maze onsite will entertain kids and adults with puzzles and clues. My favourite part is probably the general store; there are all kinds of delicious things for sale, including maple syrup, tea, coffee, hot apple cider and most importantly candy/caramel apples. The pumpkins were harvested and you can have your pick from the massive display outside. Also, a great photo op (there are tons, all over the place there). Open year round so even if you miss the picking, you can stop in and check out what's in season and for sale.

Natalie's Tamales (Instagram natalies_tamles). Met her at an Yelp event and fell in love with the tamales and sauces. Having southern roots been hard to find a good tamale, but Natalie has nailed it. The pork and chicken tamales are delicious! Like I said the weather was not the best, but I was still surprised at how many vendors were there. Ranging from fresh sausage, fruits, vegetables, sweets, cheeses and wine and alcohol. I met a chef, Chef Scott Bernard. (Instagram goodneighborflavor) He has a stand with balavka, original and brown sugar cinnamon. They both were tasty, the brown sugar cinnamon was my favorite. He was very friendly. He told me he does catering, and four course private dinners, as well as opening a Bistro in Cheektowaga coming soon. I love going and meeting new vendors. This is a great little market located in the town of Wellington in Prince Edward Count (PEC). There are two major highlights that put this market into a league of it's own. 1- There is a French Canadian lady selling home made pies. OMG this was amoung the best pies I've ever had. We went for a berry pie. It was loaded, I mean loaded, with a thick layer of filling made from fresh local berries. YOu could see whole berries right there before your eyes. The crust was to die for and it was just all around awesome. 2- And this was the real highlight! The community had come together to sponsor a refugee family from Syria to settle in PEC. The family started a food service business. They make hummus and other middle eastern spreads as well as pitas and chips. At the market they offer a falafel plate. OMG these are hands down the best falafels that I've ever had. Light, crispy, flavourful, so amazing!! These are not in anyway comparable to the falafels that you might have eaten elsewhere. The taste and texture are so much better. Honestly I'd go back to PEC just for the falafels and so should you.... I'd also buy 8 pies while I was there ;-)
