Once you get your phone and a plan, everything is smooth sailing. Not deceiving in any way! Wonderful.

I went to AT&T today to get my phone looked at and the guy Kevin that worked there was amazing. He…read moreanswered all the questions and even finished the questions before I finished him. He knew everything that was wrong with it and did an outstanding job.

This place is an abominable waste of time! I walked in at…read more9:05. The store was empty. The guy at the door, Michael, said, "I can take your name for the list." I was shocked because there was no one there. I asked, "how long is the wait?" He said, "well, there is one person ahead of you," and he pointed to a man who was browsing the store. So, I had to wait for him to find out what another person wants before he can help me, and the other person is not asking for help, but just browsing. I should wait with baited breath for a browsing customer to decide if they need something, and the worker should not help anyone else until such time as that monumental decision is made...? He continued, "depends what he wants. An upgrade takes about an hour. But there are only two of us here right now, and a manager. There will be more techs coming in later, though, if they show up, that is. So, if you want to come back in a few hours..." So, this guy is standing at the door trying to get people to leave!!! I told him, "I drove over here. I'll wait." So, he put my name on "the list," and went over to help the one person ahead of me. When he went up to that man, the man told him, "no, thank you. George told me he would take care of me this morning." Then, the worker said to me, "I can help you now." Really...?! I told him I just needed my screen protector replaced. He asked me which size phone I have, where I bought it, and what brand screen protector I had. I told him I have an iPhone 16 and that I bought it in the AT&T store, but I didn't know what brand the screen protector was, and didn't care. Any screen protector would do. He had me sit down and spent 20 minutes collecting my information to get into my account only to tell me that "we don't do screen protectors in store anymore." While he was doing that, another man came in the front door. To him, Michael said, "Sir, it will only be a couple of minutes." What? So, what changed in the time from when I came in, and this next person? I was dissuaded from even coming in, and then begrudgingly placed on the "waiting list" (with ONE other person). This man, however, was going to be helped in a couple of minutes...? Then, Michael got up pretended to look around the store to see if they had any, but was really only leaving to get an acrylic frame with a QR code that he brought back to the table. He printed me a duplicate receipt of my original purchase and told me I had to go to this third party website to order a replacement screen protector by entering the purchase information from my receipt. Are you kidding me...? Ok, so I scan the code and then have to create an account at a third party website, entering all of my information. They ask you what is wrong with your screen protector and then tell you they are all "out of stock," and give you a button to click to be notified when they are back in stock. UNREAL!!! So, it's actually not possible to obtain, much less have your screen protector replaced! Good luck!!! I spent an hour NOT completing the most simple task that exists for phone repair at this place. Michael is a worker who does not want to work, and therefore should not have his job. This store is an abhorrent wasteland, and should be closed!
