Poptronics did an excellent job with the installing of my sons security system. I did notice after dark fell that there was no security indicator light that flashes just for extra security and another layer of theft deterrent. When i called back up to the shop they were more than happy for my son to bring the car back in to have the light placed in the car which again they did a seamless and excellent job.

The very nice woman who was at the cash register plugged up the laptop and let me reset it, which took a while. The Man at the door watched my laptop while I went to use the bathroom and then walked around because the reset was taking a while. The woman at the computer section was very nice and patient, answering my questions while I looked for a nother laptop. I ended up exchanging laptops, and the whole process was seemless. The employees I interacted with seemed more focused on shutting down questions than actually helping. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, they spoke over me, dismissed what was on the website, and then proceeded to invent policies on the spot -- policies that directly contradicted what BestBuy.com clearly states. When I pulled up the information on their website and showed it to them, they still insisted on their "in-store policy," but couldn't point to anything written, official, or even logical. It felt like they were improvising excuses instead of providing service. That's not professionalism -- that's laziness and a complete lack of training. If Best Buy expects customers to take their brand seriously, the very least they could do is ensure their staff follows the same rules listed on their own website. Right now, it feels like you get a different story depending on which associate you talk to and what mood they're in.

    Buyer Beware Our…read moreexperience with The Big Screen Store and its President, Jason Brager, was extremely disappointing. We purchased two Parker House "Parker Living" genuine leather chairs, and one arrived with puckering leather on the arm. Despite repeated requests, Mr. Brager refused to send anyone to inspect the chair, replace it, or offer a refund. His communication was combative and unprofessional throughout the process. Only after several days of continuous emails and filing a dispute with our credit card company were we able to secure a full refund. I also reached out to the furniture manufacturer, and they confirmed that it is not the quality that should be expected. Be aware that this company is not customer-friendly. Their approach seems to be to wear customers down and keep as much of your money as possible. Mr. Brager even stated that used floor models are the "barometer" for new furniture quality--meaning if you see flaws in a used floor model, you should expect the same flaws in your brand new purchase. We would never do business here again, which is unfortunate since we were long-term customers purchasing more than 6 high-end televisions and a leather Palliser sofa before this experience. Found this same brand/color chair at Homegoods for $399.99 without any damage, which is more than $100 less based on their "sale" price plus delivery!     Have been purchasing TVs from since 2007. Had another great experience this week. Been to the…read moreEllicott city and Towson locations. Appreciate the care a local company takes care of its clients. There are so many places to purchases TVs but the big screen has better pricing than Amazon and big box stores while still answering the phone when you call. I also bought a couch from them and it was great quality lasted many more years than I thought it would.
