I also reached out to the furniture manufacturer, and they confirmed that it is not the quality that should be expected. Be aware that this company is not customer-friendly. Their approach seems to be to wear customers down and keep as much of your money as possible. Mr. Brager even stated that used floor models are the "barometer" for new furniture quality--meaning if you see flaws in a used floor model, you should expect the same flaws in your brand new purchase. We would never do business here again, which is unfortunate since we were long-term customers purchasing more than 6 high-end televisions and a leather Palliser sofa before this experience. There are so many places to purchases TVs but the big screen has better pricing than Amazon and big box stores while still answering the phone when you call.
