A cute little design store in one of Güemes' schmancy galerias, Cria Diseño packs a lot into a small space. My eye was caught by the charming cube-shaped mate gourds in the front window, in bright Pantone colors. If you've developed a taste for mate but want something modern-looking, check these out! The rest of the store is equally fun, with art prints, notecards, bags, mugs, and novelty toys carefully arranged in cubbies and wall displays. It can be hard to squeeze past when there are more than a couple of people in the shop, but there's a lot to look at, so there's no need to rush.
